It depends on the context it is put in. I’ve seen many announcing ignores not just in this thread but others,it does not fall under as trolling.
What you see does not mean that is what a mod sees.

People can decide they dislike your online presence as well especially if you’re making said presence obnoxious, obtuse, or spreading some kind of bigotry, all reasons why i validly decide to dislike people. Battletags being tied to our posting characters also doesn’t further anyone knowing anything about us, but does help curb people who seem intent on being obnoxious via sock puppets.

yes it wasnt on this thread it was on the other one who was announcing it and being a troll/rude/harassing someone else. thats why the whole call out thing is in context too, if youre calling someone their name with good intents like a friend thats fine. it’s not okay to do it because of people wanting to start drama and witch hunts.

No, your only mistake is attempting to deceive people. And as I said, there is a ton of 3rd party websites out there, even with a classic alt, people will know who you are.
Ignores have nothing to do with privacy.
So, you’re admitting to harassment via using alts? Because that is what you’re doing with everything you’ve have said.

I didn’t witness the removed post or context, to have any truth of your saying, but if it was encouraging others to put another player on ignore for example.
“Just put Laeuko on ignore she’s is troll”
“Everyone just ignore Laeuko”
Yes it’s harassment category.
In this example of context:
“Our discussion is over and I wish to no longer engage with you and I’m adding you to my ignore”
“I don’t want to further engage with you anymore I’m just going add you to my ignore”
Those contexts are fine, because it’s not encouraging or influencing the entire community.
Those who told Ard he’s on their ignore, did that encourage me to do the same? No it did not, because Ard did not earn my ignore personal requirements that are my own and only I decide if I want to continue seeing him or not.
To be honest I think we’re all guilty of this. 
We have our own thoughts on opinion of what is rule breaker and what is not, I believe the MVP’s are the most knowledgeable on the subject then any of us.
I wouldn’t mind a MVP clarifying a few things between Moondoggie and I on our discussion, it would help to clear up some the air.

well i’d listen to mirasol since she isn’t rude like the other one…bc shes the one im talking about. ex: no need to say “i ignored moondoggie, this is why i ignored them.” and then talk about me or ask questions about me when the purpose of ignoring me was not to deal with me:
like this for example. why are you asking her? lmao you have me on ignored…da heck u care what im doing? literally been ignored and uignored by u since the start.
i see no other reason for people to crop up others theyve ignored only to start drama.
I haven’t seen Mirasol or Perl around in this thread for a little bit. But their knowledge would help out a lot.
But on your discussion, it is not against the rules to announce on ignoring someone. How ever, if a post has been removed, it could’ve been something else within the post that could’ve gotten removed.

Well, took me a bit of effort, but I manged to forum ignore all of L’s alt’s and her main. I would have rather just have to click one and done… Now to work on the fox.
More for account wide ignore.

Actually you haven’t, though you have my permission to call out some of my Classic Alts if you like, as it would be interesting to see if you got every single one of them.
I remember when I first switched to Lilitha as nobody knew who the heck I was I had a very pleasant forum experience for months, barely got any posts buried, it was Heaven.

People shouldn’t need permission. You need to understand that switching alts to intentionally bypass ignores to reply to people who put you on ignore in the first place is considered as harassment.
If you don’t believe me, go ask CS on this. And even ask how severe does Blizzard take against harassment.

You appear to have removed yourself from checkpvp. I see one “Lilithia-nagrand” there, and it’s a dk. And checkpvp doesn’t even detect classic alts.
