but, in reality, how often do you think you would actually use it?
i dont use any of those apps, my bnet is not connected to amazon or twitch and i dont connect it to discord either. my btag is literally private from everyone except blizzard itself.
I think Apple only gets it if you choose to enable the Sign in with Apple feature (which is really convenient if you have an iPhone)
luckily i don’t do that, so my btag is still private between me and blizzard
Not very often. But I’d be grateful for its effectiveness when I do.

Seems to combat the idea of echo chambers, which account wide ignores will enable.
I mean, we can already ignore now and nobody’s trying to turn the forums into an echo chamber, why would that change?
