Can we get account wide ignore?

For real what a cringe take for someone to expect you, me or anyone else to respect someone’s opinion if it’s something that’s based in trolling, hate, harassment, etc.

i wouldn’t say respecting other people is “required” but it would be the best course of action i believe.

Then you are saying the best course of action, to use my personal gender identity as a specific example, is to treat others with respect when they:

  • Call me mentally ill and allege I should be hospitalized for such
  • Suggest that treatment should reinforce an identity that I have come to significant personal odds with
  • Suggest that existing as who I am in the public sphere is tantamount to exposing children to something explicit
  • Suggest that the mere act of encouraging self-exploration of identity is tantamount to predation.

These are my examples. Others can give different ones. But this is the extension of your own words.

Unless that opinion is that some people aren’t worth their time to interact with anymore

i would prefer to not discuss any of the topics you mentioned.

but in regards to my previous statement, i was always taught from a young age that everyone should be treated with respect.

The “Golden Rule” is only as effective as a social contract. Until such time as everyone treats everyone as they want to be treated - which would exclude the behaviors I bulleted above - the Golden Rule is an exercise in futility with respect to those who wish to behave as bulleted.

from what i’ve learned as i grew up, i can’t always control the actions of other people, but i can always control how i act and i can make sure that i follow the golden rule of treating other people the way i want to be treated.

Everyone should be treated politely. Respect is earned.

It’s so comical that they are so for protecting people’s privacy and protecting people… that they oppose giving people the tools to prevent on going harassment via block evading.

You’re over-reducing. If people are consistently acting outside of the terms of a social contract, then they are neither participatory nor protected by it. Such a person, to use the Golden Rule as an example, is not required to be shown respect. Politeness, as mentioned above, yes, but not respect.

always treating others with respect.

I am now thoroughly convinced that trying to apprise you of the error of unflinching devotion to the Rule in all situations. I have tried to show you that I cannot abide by that for specific reasons as outlined above. You continue to advocate that I should do so regardless of the harm that lending respect to such can cause myself or others like me.

This is dangerous, and while you are deserving of politeness, your opinion of how to implement the Rule is dangerous to a great many people and I cannot respect it.

To exhaustively outline every example of how it is dangerous is not the place of this forum, nor is it my place as I do not fit every example. I have spoken my truth, and that is all that I can do.

How about Matthew 10:14

“And if anyone will not receive you or listen to your words, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave that house or town.”

Basically if someone doesn’t want to listen to you, move on to something else and forget about them.

I would say not all people were brought up with moral code of conduct, they were risen to believe it is respectful to be countered for self acknowledgement .

Btw,one person for account with timers if they switch accounts would do it since people are not so patient to wait for a reply.

So, what are you exactly saying? We should be respecting people who promote hate speech, or death threats, or racism, or all that nastiness people tend to get, but we should have no respect given back for having to put up with it all, and no way to hide it from the person, but just the characters they post from?

Because it does not work that way. You want respect, you got to earn it. Because it is not something that should just be given.

I am not doubting that I am being baited. This is why I have held back as much as I have - I know it can cause a serious issue if I were to go into this further.

I think  adding religion to this thread will end up closing it down.
