Can we get account wide ignore?

oh so i presented an opinion different than yours, so you blatantly call me a harrasser???

Well, you must be. Let me put it this way, why are you against people having that extra security to help with avoiding with harassment?

Seriously, give it a rest

You’re giving someone who does alt jump to get around ignores nothing except exactly what they want and help derail this thread further

The only topic is account wide ignores, nothing about btags or anything else

oh so now you double down on your insult? why? because i support an opinion that is different than yours?

No matter how many times and ways you try to pretend that this information is “private”, you’re still incorrect according to Blizzard. They created battletags to be public.

That’s why they’re used on all the other Blizzard forums.

Thankfully, none of your claims about having b-tags on the forums actually makes sense. If someone finds a player in-game and tries to harass them, in-game ignore works too. Bypassing an in-game ignore can also get your account suspended or banned.

It is the most logical explanation as to why you are so actively defending the issues with the current system that directly enable harassment of others.

In Blizzard’s words they disagree.

A BattleTag™ is a player-chosen nickname that identifies your Battle.net account in our games, websites, community forums, and more. Only one BattleTag can be associated with a Battle.net account.

Not enough to convince you? this is what the creating the account through the client has to say:

Somehow still not convinced? I logged into an Overwatch custom game lobby and my btag name portion is displayed (Censored others because of the name and shame policy here, not because of privacy):

Still remained unconvinced somehow? then I don’t know whats going to convince you man.

i am against account wide ignores because it faciliates harrassment as i have explained earlier

Except, that is entirely false. Having extra security, whether it is account wide ignores, or BTags, reduces harassment.

my btag is private information outside of game… there is absolutely no way for someone to find my btag outside of the game and that is a fact…

Why not both? Both sounds good, to me.

There’s some real intellectual dishonesty going on here. Now think about that from the reverse perspective: You’ve ignored the person harassing you. How can they continue to do that?

The harasser can no longer hide from your ignore.

really? you insult me by saying i am being “intellectually dishonest”?

wonderful behavior right there

I’m still sitting here wondering how account wide ignores would enable harassment.

Like as if I’m not going to harasss someone that I have ignored relentlessly.

i already explained it many times

Wait: is doobly Khorg?

Well I’m out, have fun endlessly taking the bait and throwing this thread so off topic it gets deleted

Coming from the one who doesn’t want anyone to have extra security to help reduce any form of harassment from within the World of Warcraft community.
