Can we get account wide ignore?

coming from the one who shared an opinion that differs from yours… i presented my opinion politely and all you did was insult my intelligence.

I don’t believe it will get deleted.

I’m just sitting here wondering why people continue to engage with one of the most obvious trolls I think I’ve ever seen. Dude’s like a satire of a satire. If he gets more obvious the universe might unravel itself.

I have taken the bait once to just show him that Blizzard disagrees with him regarding btags being private, other then thats my only bait I would be giving him.

Yeah, I think it is best we all ignore the trolls, and get back to the topic at hand. They just want to sockpuppet, and they have proven that when they keep switching between alts.

So we just all ignore doobly, and if another no post count obvious sockpuppet arrives parroting the same baloney sandwich, that’s grounds for an ongoing harassment ticket.

here are some facts for you:

  1. btags are private information outside of blizzard games - you cannot find my btag outside of game and there is no dispute to that.

  2. Account wide ignore would allow someone to find all of the alts of someone else simply by putting them on ignore…
2(a). person A puts person B on ignore… person A then sifts around the forums to find all “hidden messages” and then has access to any alts of person b.

oh more insults?? very lovely

Yeah, just ignore the sockpuppets. There intentions are clear, to get these sort of threads shut down. If we don’t bite, than they can be the ones getting dealt with, instead of us losing another thread.

This interaction has once again strengthened my resolve supporting account-wide ignore.

but account wide ignore just facilitates harrassment by allowing people to easily find alts on the forums… its just not a good idea.

Account wide everything. Not just the ingores, but the likes, flags, post count, etc.

Trust level, and ignore list.

I’d like to be able to swap around based on who my current main is, but I have no desire to re-grind TL3, and re-ignore the same people every time I re-roll or server transfer.

Exactly. I don’t want to start at 1, and having to continue reignoring forum trolls.

Nope. You can only read here, you cannot like or flag without a sub. CS you can post without a sub.

They’d have to make an entirely new Bnet account, pay for WoW, level up a character, because there’s no access to Allied Races, all just to post around one person’s ignore?

They’re grasping desperately and poor straws. lol

Reported for accepting a challenge. And blocked for accepting a challenge.

just kidding

Yep and face some serious account actions if proven.

Edit: This is regarding ongoing harassment, not just alt hopping, btw.

Wrong with account wide ignores person B would not need to switch toons and could ignore person A entirely without having to worry about having to deal with the possible 159 other toons the person has on the account.

Also if person A was to use another account and another and so on , they too can be easily taken care of with an account wide ignore.

Yes they can there are various sites people can use to track alts just based on Character/Server alone and also people are creatures of habbit and no matter what toon thet switch to , they will say things in the same way they did on the previous toon .

This is why it has been so easy to spot certain people that have been alt hopping in these threads about account wide ignores / btags .

Not to mention all of the posts we’ve seen in CS about how people have tracked others down, called them out, etc.

oh so your entire argument is “we don’t care about giving people more options for finding alts because there are already options to find alts”

and you forgot about the fact that players can check the “show only character achievements” box and prevent websites like those from finding alts.
