I remember going through great depth and rationale as to why it was a terrible idea for them to late-stage change the loot lockout system for the rares in ZC. It made zero difference.
Ergo interpretation is that they don’t listen and don’t care. Now that may not necessarily be the case since they would never respond to some random pleb unless my name was asmonbald. But it still results in the feeling of yelling into the void regardless.
I’m surprised this is still going.

No one saved a game by announcing they have troll free forums, just another reason why Blizzard won’t bother doing anything.
well, see here, my wonderful friend, i just am trying to understand where my fellow forum users are coming from, right?
they keep telling me that they want a new ignore system because (they apparently ignore people constantly? idk)… but, from what i’ve seen, they don’t even use the current ignore system, right?
they say, oh you’re on ignore now… but then they keep responding to messages that i write to other people and then they also create messages to directly respond to me.

I think most people don’t even really use the ignore function, so why do these people who created this thread always seem to be ignoring everyone? what is going on that they feel the need to ignore so many people when most people don’t even use the ignore function, right?

The Dev team is a separate team from the ones that do the forums.
Changing things on the forum has no bearing on what is being worked on in the game.

However, Blizzard eventually needs to address the echo chamber problem too.
You can already ignore another person’s account in game , you just can only do it on one toon . Alts have to go in and ignore the account separately.

While Id like a great block, I doubt theyre ever giving us much more than we have now. I THINK they just EXPECT us to behave ourselves, or get a vacation if we cant.

That’s why it should be applied to the forums as well, not to mention if we took it a step further and switched over to battletags it would work because it’s already used on all the other Blizzard forums and they work just fine so they’d work fine on the WoW forums as well.
