The only way at that point that they would bypass is with burner accounts… Which if they want to troll that badly to spend 16 or so bucks a month I’ll happily ignore both accounts… If they’re going out of their way to spend twice that then ooofta.

People can though is the point doobly was claiming. So I posit people would still do that either way. They do it now.
Account wide ignore helps the forums overall and stops most sock puppetting and ignore bypasses.
It’s a benefit.

Team evidence, like I Said people have been nasty in this thread already and you are too.
You know people did 40+ accounts to grief in BGs, right? The solution to your issues is obvious. Blizzard used to handle issues via tickets. Harassment being one of them. Petition for that instead. That one even solved the issue of multiple accounts, unlike the current system for even in game.
See? You both proved my point fantastically.

That expenditure of money isn’t sustainable, nor common.
Water kills people sometimes so we can’t have apples.
And even then I can ignore all of their accounts and it’s done.
Right now I can use 120 characters because I have two accounts linked to my bnet.
You want to ignore one of me, 40 of me on burners or just a flat 120?
Don’t sell yourself short there, 2 licenses gets you 320 characters since there’s also 50 each on classic and wrath classic. And really it’s infifinte since you can just delete and make a new character if you’re that ambitious

It is, how many people do you imagine donate or subscribe to streamers? How many people buy artwork for their characters? It’s honestly quite a few, and it’s ‘their choice’ how they spend their money. For WoW however, you just need gold. You don’t even need money. Having more accounts actually makes it easier to make money here.

Quite an easy one, just a ticket or an email instead. Maybe blast it out on social media, make it a hot button (I swear I didn’t mean for this to be a pun) topic or bad PR for the company, if you made it an issue and were evading like you all accuse others of doing yet YOU having no evidence of them being the same people. Your solution doesn’t even solve any of the problems, it just makes it easier to ‘ignore’. Haha. Wanna know a trick, though? If you close your eyes or close a tab, no more posts.
Oh yeah, I just wanted easier numbers based on a common player.
But like yeah. It’s an indefensible position with their (Doobly and Co’s) chosen issues with it. It falls apart everywhere.

Just a question for either of you, did requiring new accounts + SMS and authenticator actually get rid of the spambots in game, or did they not? That means to make an ad they had to create a new account, get a new phone line (VOIP and some other versions just straight don’t work like if you buy a phone with minutes.)
Where is the monetary gain to be made from trolling the forums?
And how much spamming is new accounts vs compromised accounts?

They can be doing both with the same accounts, what makes you think they don’t? People can make tons of gold doing all sorts of things in game and spend little to no real money.
Almost all new, if you’re a guide you can see the murloc icon. Even right this moment there were about 15 ad listings. A lot more if you check the ‘services’ channel of servers now. Bunch of level 10’s (Against the rules, have to be participating in the run to advertise) yet it’s constantly done anyways.
And this has what to do with defragging our forum ids so ignores are ignores and if you happen to want to post as an applicable character in a thread that you don’t lose stuff like post count, trust level and so forth? (also stopping like/flag abuse)

Doesn’t matter what toon they are on , they eventually say the same exact thing the previous toon they were on said.
People are creatures of habbit. Their actions speak for themselves.

Let me know, then. People think they’re smarter than they really are. Which has been quite proven as how many people from this thread accused me or others of being someone they were provably not?
These sockpuppets are the reasoning to why the forums need account-wide everything, considering they keep switching alts to act like a new person.
