Can we get a change to the Storm Chaser Achievement?

2am Azure Span

8 of the last 10 storms have been in Azure Span. Something has to have broken. If this was a slot machine, they’d have taken it to be serviced by now.

Can we please take a look at Tetrachromancer?? atleast you can tick this off in about 10 minutes of play when the storm is finally up.

Tetrachromancer is actually broken.

Unless you consider 8 hours a day, farming grand hunts, everyday for half a year, unbroken.

Im sorry but the storms you absolutely could achieve, this is taking away from the actually most cooked problem with the meta which is Tetrachromancer

Hey guys, I’m guessing we have a better chance of getting Blizzard to notice if we post about the storm rotation issues in the Bug Report forum.

Someone made a Bug Report earlier. Please add a comment, like, and bookmark to that thread. Thanks and good luck with your A World Awoken progress.

I’m missing
-Ohn’ahran plains - Sand , Thunder
-Thaldraszus - Fire, snow

I wonder if there’s a way to have some notification wake me up if one of these hits at 2 am?

Seething cache was removed from Taivan meta. Wonder if we can get Storm Chaser the same treatment?

This is just wildly out of touch. Many people enjoy playing video games but they may not want to or even have the ability to schedule their life around one. I could absolutely pull up wowhead at 3PM to see what storm is up, that doesn’t mean I can leave work and log on to do it.

Prior to the addition of the meta achievement, Into the Storm offered no rewards other than achievement points. There are players who have no interest in completing an achievement if the only reward is points. They will complete achievements if it rewards a pet, title, toy, or mount that they are interested in. So while players have had plenty of time to complete these storms, they had no incentive until recently. In addition, the storm content wasn’t relevant for some players on release. The item level of the gear offered was below what they already had. Or if they did need the catch-up gear, they obtained what they needed long before killing 200 enemies in every zone in every storm. Into the Storm wasn’t something most players would passively achieve.

So Blizzard introduces the Meta Achievement and it requires Into the Storm. You have some players that already have it completed, others that have partial progress because they participated in the storms when they were new content, and others that have no progress. Since the content was released, it’s been changed to occur much less frequently. Now you have two groups of people who have a much more difficult time completing the Meta Achievement than others.

Wow we got Ohn’ahren plains then followed by a Thaldraszus the next rotation. I base the following on copium only but maybe they fixed in a rotation?

Either way, I already had the element that was in Ohn’ahren but now I am completely finished with Thaldraszus. Just need fire/thunder in centaur lands.

nope, back in Azure Span

Sorry. It’s RNG just being random.

But at least you got some progress.

And Azure Span again.

No no no, it’s a very bad argument, and it set a really bad precedent for the future expansion.

This achivement was not required and was not associated with anything instead of a self flex stuff when it was released.

I repeat, it gave nothing.

So people will now look at each achievment in game when new stuff are released and will fill forced to do them even if it does not reward them anything for the sake or not missing possible end of expansion meta achivement reward ?

I thought blizzard moved away from AP farming or borrowed power stuff , to make the player more free of their time

Doing this is no different, its mindless farming of achievement in hope of not missing end of expack reward, it’s a very very bad precedent. It shouldn’t even be done.

This kind of reward should be automatically given to all of those who did the basic stuff of each outdoor event of each season , outside of bonus achivement that rewarded nothing, instead of adding stuff that weren’t required during those event.

It should work exactly like the meta achivement to unlock regular flying. If you did the content and exploration, plus the standard achievement for each events, you get the stuff.

Period.

I get the frustration, as I was frustrated too when I did these. It’s a slog now and it was then as well. Azure Span was definitely the predominate location.

Having 2 storms up at a time OR a more predictable rotation would make it easier. However, it took several weeks for me to get this done and it didn’t involve setting alarms or waking up at night. Just a bit of patience.

There were 2 or 3 specific storms that I waited awhile for, so don’t lose hope. It will happen.

One thing that helped was checking the Wowhead front page to see what storms were up, although I imagine most of you know this.

Good Luck all!
