Blood tank main here in OG Wrath. All 3 specs could tank and dps with their own strengths and weaknesses

No, all 3 specs were fully capable of both tanking and dpsing all of the content throughout WotLK.

And a resto shaman had dps buttons i get it. But noone was frost tanking ulduar 25 friend. Noone was unholy tanking ulduar 25 my dude. Sure even now, blood is viable as dps, well not VIABLE, but it does damage. Armor pen comes this tier and next. Blood dps is a troll spec until then because of optimization. Just because you can, doesnt mean you should. If you had no real prog in vanilla wrath i think i know why.
Absolute nonsense, frost was even one of the more popular tank specs at the time.

Itās 100% viable. Itās barely behind Frost if you play it right.
And if youre not a tank and youre not unholy, you arent meta. I.e. fully optimized. Being slightly behind frost isnt a consolation when frost is light years behind unholy.
OK, but this is another conversation entirely.
An unholy tank is fully capable of tanking whatever a blood dk can tank.
So? Youāre playing Unholy and youāre not even CLOSE to optimizing your gear orā¦ anything actually.

Thats not the convo either. The original convo was dude wants a spec that was only around for first raid tier in vanilla to come back. When we dont even have the same talents. Its after a rework. So no, not gonna happen. Once again for the more dense, yes blood dps is a thing. But as it stands right now, its the worst of the 3. With more armor pen, as stated this tier and next, it will gain more traction

Because we arent talking about my current gear state. We are talking about asking for things that arent possible atm? Does my logs mean i dont know how to read patch notes? Unholy and frost were both optimized for tanking as well as DPS.
Blood was optimized for DPS as well as tanking.
Perfectly balanced? No.

So once again, the current patch we are on is 3.3.x which has all the stat and talent changes that came with it. And we got that since release of classic wrath. Original wrath had all 3 specs able to taunt and withstand damage yes. But until geared, frost was the only actual viable tank. Until later tunings and better gearing which then, with the gear came the shift. From frost to blood. And blood became a decent dps source! Which leads me to once again saying im not saying blood dps is bad rn, i said the opposite. This is where it gets good and only better. But flex logs more?
