Now what I did want was sethrak but thats a whole post on its own.
But tangent aside… you got high elves via cosmetics. You don’t need racials to be a high elf.
So what you are saying is there can be no side plot other than WE ARE LEGION?
Also you really love the term ‘shoe horn’.
Its almost like they fleshed out their story via the argus storyline or something.

weird how people are too dense to realize there is more of a reason to have high elves and blood elves as separate races than the allied orcs or dwarves. game itself clearly separates them too

I cant think of anything more boring than a third version of a race we have playable twice over.
Im not opposed to something like being able to change the name of your race to a suitable option like letting dwarves say theyre wildhammer and have it expanded out to all races.
But as a stand alone thing? Pass

The term, “Blood Elf,” is purely a political name. Kael’thas was a High Elf, and after being betrayed by the Alliance, he started calling his group Blood Elves, signifying their betrayal. Physiologically, they’re identical.
Again, it’s just a name difference. That’s what it’s always been.

Earthen have grown on me somewhat as they’re taller and have unique customisation to them. Plus theyre a different race technically in lore. Technically…
So they have something at least.
But yeah, we could get something like lightbound lightforged draenei. Draenei with even more light added. That would be worse probably
