Can we finally get playable the high elves?

it could be the prettiest city in the game, and i wouldnt be interested because 1. it belongs to sindorei and 2. its not alliance

I doubt they’ll rehash that, removing the Sunwell would remove so much significance to the current Blood elf lore like Lady Liadryn redemption and the whole sacrifice of M’uru. It would be far more interesting to actually see a Well survive an expansion involving it lol

I mean the Karma struck both ways. Does the OP sound happy with their “high elf” lol

Helfers continuously mocked Blood elves for being “fel-tainted” and how awful and corrupted they were and how they would never want to play them. And what did they get? They got Void elves, former blood elves corrupted with a form of corruptive magic that makes the Fel look like a sunburn. Now every helfer has to live with the fact that their “elf” will always be a void elf, and Blood elf players can play the pure, light-wielding High elf they always wished they could have.

It’s nice that they can get their alternative, but it makes me smile knowing all the purist have to cringe inside when their Holy Priest starts to pulse like a void glowstick, or when they enter a church and the NPCs basically ask them to leave lol

its really non immersive. at least people stop throwing fruit at dks. lol

sw cathedral is like -

get.out.now (paraphrased)

to my holy priest. lol

Imagine someone Roleplaying their High Elf Holy priest entering the church and the front clerk basically demands you to leave in front of everyone. Lord’t :weary:

yeah at least when belfs were naughty, they werent told to leave their own priest trainers area in silvermoon

Bonus points: I also remember Helfers telling me that Blue eyes would never come to Blood elves. ahem Drede

Me now:
:eye: :lips: :eye:

Tis truly tragic, although as of yet I’m not sure if it happens in any other church besides Stormwind’s.

This isn’t some karma nonsense. This is the result of a very vocal minority vs a very silent majority.

You helf types keep making up these little wars in your heads with karma and blows, I don’t know why you do it, it’s kind of disturbing. The only thing that took a blow here is the velf development.

The fact is the devs gave in to the whining that came from a very small minority. Imagine what happens when that silent majority figures out they can scream as hard. And it seems to be happening since the helfers are now coming for Silvermoon.

I hope not to see Void Elves go to Silvermoon. It’s time to build something new and beautiful! A gorgeous blue, glowing, crystalline Void city. Give it an Aubrey Beardsly vibe, elegant and a bit spooky.

If high Elves Alliance side get added, they could have a quarter of the city with some nice, silvery blue esthetics on, perhaps some Taj Mahal looking buildings. ( In the new city- nothing to do with Silvermoon )

And since we are all ‘freinds’ now, a 1/4 of the city set aside with a nice golden temple for the trolls the Blood Elves kicked out when they colonized Silvermoon.

Wowpedia says: - Silvermoon itself was constructed over the site of sacred troll grounds, which earned the elves further enmity from the neighboring Amani tribe.

edited to make clear- not interested in Silvermoon or ever having high or Void elves there)

we had our own high elves but werent allowed to play them because ion said there werent enough left as they were being assimilated into other races, yet every expac alliance interacted with them. it was so irritating

Well I’m extremely skeptical that the Blood elves would ever create an Alliance quarter in their city, its not like the Alliance are allowed at the Sunwell just because the High elves are allowed entry afterall.

If its added it likely will replace the starter questing area since it’s directly connected to Sunstrider Isle. but again this is just speculation.

i thought he meant in the void elf city for helfs and for trolls in silvermoon

Troll Quarter in Silvermoon? That would probably be even less likely lol

Also unifying the elven tribes to “fight alongside the forces of the Light” sounds more like the High elves coming to Silvermoon than in a mysterious void city lol

Void elves is an ongoing story element and its population came from blood elves cause helvers dont have the babies for it because they keep showing their backsides to humans.

Maybe I was unclear. I mean the void Elves should create their own city, it can have a 1/4 for the Alliance ‘high Elves’ if they get added, and a 1/4 for the Amani trolls. personally, I have no interest in Alliance being in Silvermoon or in just getting ‘allowed back into’ Blood Elf areas.

They have their own city floating in the void. That could have been devloped if people actually asked for that instead of trying to repaint velfs pink.

Again, nothing to do with Silvermoon.

A new city. For and by Void Elves, and anyone else that are friendly to them. Since Blood Elves built Silvermoon on top of sacred troll land- and then colonized the area, perhaps Void Elves could offer a 1/4 of their city as a new home for them.

If you check out the excellent Void elf request thread by Fenelon (sp? ), you will see that people have been asking for this for years.
