Can we finally get playable the high elves?

Tell me Wrath was your first introduction to the Warcraft ip without telling me Wrath was your first introduction to the Warcraft ip.

Eh more elves. Still, naga elves. Yeah, ok, kinda nice. But how many elves do we need in this game. Seriously, the Horde has been begging for Ogres since vanilla, the Alliance has been begging for Vrykul since WotLK, maybe look into that before adding more elves. Still, cool art.

As I have said to others, I would prefer they remain in a single form, and if necessary, have them use visage magic for legs to make mounting less difficult for these lazy devs to make work. I know I will be avoiding an elf form as often as possible either way…

Naga should not be another elf race. They may culturally be similar to ancient highborne to a degree, but they are not elves anymore. They should be a monstrous race through and through, with personalities to match.

It’s all been a mess as far as I’m concerned. Honestly the Horde has no real business assisting with the nelf tree either, much less Gilneas. God I wish they’d hire some actual writers.

I can think of Mushroom and Broccoli Elves

Posts like this are your daily reminder that high elf fans don’t want the race just because they like them but to dab on blood elf fans and make them lose all they have now and can pretend Quel’thalas should have been part of the alliance from the start even tho they joined the Horde 17 years ago. Never change and keep exposing yourself and your lies its hillarious.

Exactly. We should have had quests rebuilding Brill and UC. I don’t see how us being there, even helping wouldn’t feel awful to those whole lost loved ones. It just doesn’t fit.

Naga… are not… GOD DAMN ELVES! LIKE SAYING NIGHT ELVES ARE TROLLS, OR DWARVES ARE EARTHEN!

People have been begging for playable naga since WARCRAFT 3 and then Vanilla as well!!

If naga had an elf form it would be purely cosmetic and so the devs can stop dragging their lazy baby feet on animating the tails on mounts. Nothing more.

I don’t actually want more elves either. Simply having naga use magic for legs on mounts without turning full elf would be enough.

Edit: the idea of even using “too many elves!” As a reason is such zug brain nonsense. No one ASKED for void elves. A few MIGHT have asked for nightborne but compared to the naga crowd it was insignificant. Naga deserve a spot in the roster more than any of the AR elves ever did. Sure as hell deserve it more than VRYKUL too, and ogres would never see the player count naga would. I’d bet money on that.

DAMN!!! I WANT that sooo bad!

(Although what I’d really. really, really, want, is the four arms version)

Yeah kind of feels like the Horde got 2nd class treatment in DF, at least as far as the story is concerned. I hear someone say that the writers don’t like the Horde and they punish players because of that. Right now, I feel like they were right.

And frankly, I don’t see the next expansion being much different. I mean what connection do Horde races have with whatever’s happening in those zones? None. Unlike the Alliance, who even if we skip the dwarves-stone dwarves relations that might exist, they have the human kingdom in Lightfall, was it? Yeah, another expansion of walking around like an uninvited guest then, after that when you have an expansion that actually focuses on one of your races? Time to give up a city so the Alliance can move in. 2nd class is right.

We must spam blizzard on reddit… twitter… the other parts of the forums thst the devs pay attention to! Blizzard NEEDS to be pestered about this. The wait has been too long!

Exactly. Most people don’t want the same race reskinned, especially when there’s already so many.

We just want new, unique races. Gimme naga damn it  Let me be a sea snake.

Exactly this! Gimme this! (the one on the right)

The ones on the left are an abomination we may have to suffer, to also get the ones on the right, unfortunately…

Sounds to me like youre trying to desperately cling to a faction war that has long since ended and pretend that blizzard hasnt made giant leaps to a faction neutral game.

They added cross faction guilds and allow the horde to freely roam the new alliance cities.
The war is never coming back. Its over for good.

I dont care about silvermoon in the slightest.
I just dont see a world where they set an expansion in quelthalas and dont share the extremely obvious and only suitable hub.
Unless of course silvermoon is like suramar and no one gets to go there.

This is incorrect. According to the NPCs in the starter zone they can be both High and Blood Elves!

The suitable hub is the Isle of Quel’danas and factions have existed for years without obvious wars. The cross-faction grouping is optional, not forced. And we aren’t allowed to freely roam with full amenities in Alliance cities. Just like you can’t in UC and Brill is a separate instance.

I guess it depends on the actual setting on the expansion.
If its main setting is the whole of quelthalas i dont see this being the hub.
If they pull a cataclysm and have the expansion zones be scattered across azeroth with only the isle being relevant to the expansion, then yeah no need to share.

Maybe not desperately but I think the removal of the possibility to have more wars between the factions is a very bad idea especially since the game was also built on the rivalry between the reds and the blues.

I always found it weird how some of you want peace so badly. I mean what is it? Virtue signaling? Something else?

And I don’t believe you when you say you don’t care. If you didn’t care Neutral Silvermoon wouldn’t be the first conclusion you jumped to when they mentioned Midnight and of course if you don’t get to take it over, then nobody gets to live there. Yeah, sounds like you do care about it quite a lot.

And I do see a world where they set an expansion into the respective area and each faction gets their own hub. I mean the velfs have had very little development. This would be the time for them to get their settlement updated since they will also be involved heavily in the plot given their connection to the void. So there’s that solution and the best part, no faction city has to be screwed by neutrality.

There are flight points and dragon riding to get you around. We had a long trip to Mechagon. You can handle it.

Faction war is just played out now.
The two sides have come together so often that being at each others throats doesnt make sense.
Its just bad story telling to have them hate each other yet come together every 5 seconds and make peace. Just to go back to hating each other yet again.

I do think it would be bad game design to give one faction a fully functional city hub in the heart of the expansions zones.
While the other gets a tent near by or have to leave the expansion areas entirely.

Its not about the city itself.
