tired of zoning into a random WSG and the other team happens to have a Druid (who of course has engineering as pretty much every character in wrath classic does) who is pretty much untouchable and wins the game just for existing.
Can they just not allow engineering items while using flag and make it so you can’t move faster than normal move speed?
Also can someone clarify if premades only fight other premades or not? This wsg had 7 people from same server with 3 druids coordinating the flag, one picks up uses boots/parachute and caps and the next does the same. Meanwhile my entire team is random 0 heals 0 druids 0 grouped players.
Premades can be matched against a team of only pugs.
As much as I hate Druids carrying the flag, I find that all the jumping spots they can abuse to go over fences, be in hard to reach spots with LoS and skip straight to the graveyard are way more problematic than them running faster with the flag.
Good to know. Someone in the bg pointed out that they were a premade and someone started raging saying premades can only q into other premades and it’s been that way since classic. I was like no way, that did not happen until way later.
But yeah druids being able to abuse the terrain as well. It just makes it miserable. It’s one of the more fun bgs to random play when it doesn’t involve druids, node capture maps generate frustration because people never listen or ghost things etc.
Engineering isnt just a wrath thing its been a thing since classic. Just have to live with it. 3 druid team though thats just find a shady spot and go to sleep match
I thought so too, but I didn’t want anyone coming in to call me stupid for being wrong and quote me endlessly about it. I just know it happened at some point around wrath.
Edit: Using nitro boosts made you drop the flag starting in 3.1
i know they changed Nifty Stopwatch in tbc to make you drop the flag, not sure how they would delineate which items make you drop and which don’t. i don’t think the items should make you drop the flag but it should probably be consistent.
