So is there a reason why you can go from the back of our raid to the back of theirs in ashran in 2 grips? and you can seemingly be pulled from the middle of their raid from the middle of yours? Especially with as short of a cd as grip has

I know its death and darkness and all that. its kind of broken and idc about dks being slow.

I know you were trying to go for dks and death being as inescapable as death and darkness but in practice its really broken for pretty much every caster and hunter and also for all melee when its not a 1v1

Well I would imagine stuff like that happening has more to do with you being “infamous” or well-known by epic BG’ers rather than certain DK abilities/talents being “OP” :rofl:

Only a few reasons someone would get triple-quadruple-quintuple gripped:

  1. they’re a high dmg/high healing pumper target
  2. special/unique scenarios such as holding the AA
  3. they’re somehow well-known or “infamous” among the community (in your case)

Most regular/lesser-known players only get gripped like once or twice, then either escape back to the team or die in the enemy deathball

But being giga-gripped 4/5/6+ times means someone on the other team probably recognizes you, you’re somehow “infamous”, etc

and i checked all the boxes, its as shrimple as that

anyways if you’re spending the whole game getting fished up by dks, your team is just not pushing into them nearly enough

2 charges with a 25 sec recharge. if you’re getting pulled from one side to the other in 2 deathgrips its 2 dks doing it and it’s probably on purpose.

No it was only 1 i think the class just needs to be made slower by giving death grip a way longer cd and only 1 charge.

And maybe a way shorter range to

or perhaps a type of diminishing returns where it only pulls you half way into the ball of death for every consecutive dg within a certain amount of time.

Giving them both 40yd grip and a 2nd charge of it was a mistake.

tbh even in pugs-vs-pugs you see random players saying stuff like “everyone focus charming” or “DK grip charming pls” in the chatbox, it’s not just forums people/regulars that dogpile him

I guess it makes sense though, with the sheer amount of epic BGs he spams he’s become “well-known” even amongst random pug players

Try getting deathgripped halfway across the zone only to be lifegripped back, deathgripped again and lifegripped back again. It’s like playing ping pong!

I’ve never been gripped by a dk ever in my life, i just choose not to get pulled. Pretty easy

the class is dead in pvp and you are complaining about grip still? the only place you see DKs in pvp these days is blood dks trying to solo backdoor ashran and PVErs who don’t know any better.

Even in EBGs why not just bubble and horsie out of the area. They can’t chain-grip through it and you’re back safely in back-line
