Can We All Agree That Not All Multi-boxers Are Bad?

Just because WoW is an MMO. There is nothing in the MMO name that implies that people have or should play with other people. Mass Multi-player Online. A bunch of people sharing the same space and nothing more. Kind of like living in a town.

Also I view WoW kind of like a sandbox in that there are a multitude of ways to enjoy the game and it’s up to each person to decide what it is that they like that does fulfill that enjoyment.

ESO is the same way…maybe moreso a solo game with players instead of NPCs wall to wall.
Kinda makes me chuckle when we insist its an MMO as if that means much of anything given how much I play the game entirely solo.
the only real interaction I got was running dungeons and I have more fun doing that solo and NOT being driven nuts by bad DPS players causing wipes in…ugh…classic dungeons…give me a solo WoW any day.

dont need to…YOU need to PROVE that it actually does ruin the game for the entire player base and not just some disgrunted gank victims on this forum

Most I’ve met are meh. Not nice, not great, make my play time a little more annoying somehow. :woman_shrugging:t2: I won’t be supporting of people that multibox because of my past experiences.

uninstall…I got a notice that you responded to me but right now I can see anything new you posted.
I’ll keep refreshing…maybe it’ll show up

oh…I see.
The stupid forum said you responded again…

Because being passive aggressive, dismissing and rude is totally okay and politely in a civil conversation.

Oh sorry, I’m playing the victim because I won’t accept you being entirely passive aggressive with me!

Again why does what someone else do is in Anyway my fault? I am not claiming that because a guy flips me the finger then it is also your fault just cuz you were in the near vicinity.

Come on! Quote me where I attacked you!
All I want is a civil conversation with you.

Disclaimer: I accidentally edited a previous comment with this instead of posting it as new.

It’s hard for multiboxing players to be civil when we deal with trolling sealions all the time and entitled Karens who want to take our playstyle away even though we don’t farm or PvP.

youre playing victim because you are pretending to be victimized over my saying your ARGUMENT was absurd.
It was.
It still is.

no…you clearly want me to pretend to be impressed by your absurd argument that TIME is now an advantage for boxers.

Maybe where I come from a town means something different. I have a full friends list now and I’ve been having more fun than I ever had before. There is a lot of solo content in WoW and I enjoy those things too (Like Archaeology). But I believe that it is unhealthy to spend time in a place without ever talking to anybody.

I never claimed that solo content was bad. People relax with solo content in WoW and I appreciate that about this game. But in a game with many players, why not partake in the joys that come about through socialization? Why play an MMO when there are much better single-player games? Or why not move to a private server with summonable robots instead?

I believe that it is important for a game centered around community to have social aspects in it.

yeah…I actually was posting something about that and decided not to.
We ALL know whats going on here.
Ive done this crap for enough years that I know the most common tactic is to badger someone to death until the just give up…even if ones arguments are entirely absurd and rooted in fantasy.

Same reason some these days started using the bigot and race cards.
Its not an argument in most cases…its meant to stifle opposition.
They do it here by this ‘sealioning’ crap till you just have to put them on ignore and let them pretend to have won the debate.

What does any of this have to do with multiboxing?

I was responding to another post.

Tl;dr: WoW should have some level of socialization. I believe that socializing can make it more enjoyable. This play style does not encourage socialization and that’s disappointing. People who prefer to play alone could be having so much more fun right now because there are much better single-player games out there IMO.

Who was responding to you responding to me.

there are no good multiboxxers. Regardless of what they are doing or how harmless it is, it ruins the experience for other players and I’m not talking immersion.

Now, are they people… bad people? No idea. Some are, some aren’t. The people that manage this game allow it and it makes them money. It’s to bad it comes at the expense of other players. In the end, these players do it to give themselves an advantage over the rest of us and these days… it’s more and more lucrative to multibox. It’s almost like blizzard is encouraging it which sucks.

I mean you can totally disagree with my argument without being rude.

“Ur argument is wrong” hard?

No you are unable to fight my point without having to demean it and call it pathetic because you disagree with it.

And I still see no proves of how I am doing the same to you

This seriously makes me gut hurt to admit this…and no one tell Ion or anyone at blizzard…but Ive played these games since Might and magic 1 was released on 5-1/4 floppies for the commodore.
There are some great solo games out there, yes…but PERSONALLY for MY game tastes…ugh…this game out does ALL of them by leaps and bounds.

This is a role playing game. Show me another game this huge with this vast variety of races that also has all the other game aspects WoW does.

I also love WoW. I know private servers are frowned upon, but I learned about one that is intended for solo players who want to keep playing WoW because they love it. Maybe you could look that one up?

Sorry, I can’t say the name for obvious reasons, but good luck to you!

I can also tell you that your argument is ‘absurd’ without you having a melt down and acting like I stole your birth right or something.

uh huh…I think I covered this sort of thing.
Your argument was absurdity. Not just wrong…BAD wrong.

When multiboxers farm a node for a flower or mining node it depletes the node and nobody else can use it, making it harder for everyone else in the shard to get materials.

When multiboxers use scripts to farm an area it ruins it for everyone else because it stops people from completing quests and getting resources.

When Multiboxers engage in PvP they get an unfair advantage equal to how much money they have spent. You don’t have to be any good at PvP to win with 6 bots doing exactly what you do, or is it harder than I think to hit moonfire.
