Current WoW token price is 121,903. You get $15 blizzard bucks per token. You can get BfA for $49.99, so you only need 4 tokens. That’s less than half a million gold.
It either does or it doesn’t. There’s no “kinda” here. And it very firmly does not automate your characters at all.
Each character performs a single action in response to a single button press that is initiated by a human being. The software does not generate any commands of it’s own. If you walk away from the keyboard, your characters don’t do anything on their own.
That can not reasonably be called automation unless you are deliberately misusing the term.
I mean, no. Absolutely, no. An addon only assists making information that’s already in the game more accessible or visible to help you make better decisions (aka become a better player). Multiboxing enables you to achieve things not physically possibly while playing by yourself or by other individuals.
And just like that, all respect lost for anything you post or will ever post.
You are well aware of the meaning behind the ‘kinda’ there, don’t be difficult.
Anyway, since you asked for it: It very firmly automates the process of controlling multiple characters. Have you ever controlled four characters at once without the program? It’s quite a bit more laborious.
It certainly can be.
Everything here is wrong, and I would absolutely demolish you right here and now if it wouldn’t cause a massive derail.
You could do it with multiple computers and a KVM switch. Multiboxing software emulates that process.
And again, the software is not controlling anything. It can’t do a single thing on it’s own. All it does is take your commands and relay them to every WoW client window that is open instead of just the one that is in focus.
So you press a button and your characters perform one action. You don’t press a button and your characters do nothing. That is not automation.
Even if Blizzard did ban the practice? It still wouldn’t be automation. They would create a new category that says multiboxing is not allowed.
“kinda” as in “not making any firm statement in either direction so I can backpeddle later” kinda thing?
its a tactic. Not a good one…but its used.
No…it ‘kinda’ doesnt.
its either automation…or its not. Blizzard is pretty clear about their rules for it.
They are all cheaters, period. Multiple logging in is seen by nearly every other mmo who realizes how unfair and destructive it is to their games economy as a perma bannable offense.
