Yes, Void is not the opposite of Arcane, Fel is as disorder to Arcane’s order.

Chaos, Arcane, Frost, and even Death Magic.
Unfortunately using magic like Holy and Fire Magic are guaranteed to cause an immeasurable amount of pain to the caster.
There is no evidence they can’t, therefore they can.

Yes, as arcane isn’t the magic opposed to it. In fact most void elves lore wise is magisters (mages)
The magic they cannot use in lore is light magic.

I’m sure void elves can use Arcane since it is very chaotic but stabilizing it would be a feat.

Fire magic is not anti void. As per the Brokers the elemental powers are “low magic”(I hate that term but whatever) and don’t seem to have any true positive/negative relation to light and void.

Of course, it’s not anti-void, I only said it caused pain to the caster and or victim.
Fire magic does not cause pain to their caster. At least not when used properly.

Uhm, it does that why we have protection from it ,even Arcane has to have it or it will kill the caster. My first time use arcane explosion taught me that pretty quick to use my shield when my health kept going down.

Arcane doesn’t react well to Void.
Fel incidentally doesn’t react well to anything but Arcane(Demons are hurt by Light, Death-based Nathrezim felt pain from consuming Fel and Xhul’horac’s Fel Attacks exploded on contact with his Void Attacks and he himself started tearing apart).
Void Elf Magi must feel a lot of pain from using their Arcane Magic. Just like the Void Elf Holy Priests must feel a lot of pain from using Light Magic and Void Elf Warlocks must feel a lot of pain from using Fel Magic.
Arcane warding off Void is most likely how Khadgar fixed the problem of the Dark Portal leeching Life from the Blasted Lands as Warlocks use the Void(which they feed Life to) to obtain Fel/Disorder.

This is true with control since it is Arcane chaotic it has to be stabilized to be used. In low levels this is very dangerous even fire cause damage to the caster it only become resistance when a person reaches a level where is doesn’t i would say around level 30 til then it hard.
