Can void elf’s use arcane magic?

Void elves can do whatever they want.

Improper use of the Well of Eternity caused a Crater, improper use of Arcane in Northrend created Crystalsong Forest, improper use of Arcane in Azsuna caused Crystals to smash through the ground and inability to balance out Arcane in the Arcan’dor crystalized Falanaar’s Dryads and turned the Fal’dorei into Spider-Elves.

Also randomly redirecting Arcane Leylines drives things insane.

Warmage Kaitlyn’s attempts to repair the Leylines using the raw Arcane Energy from the Nexus did not tear her apart despite her assumptions so direct channeling raw Arcane won’t cause problems. It’s only when preforming elaborate Spells that things go wrong.

Arcane is Order incarnate so direct exposure is no problem to Mortals(and gives you a power rush). Not getting calculations correct causes of course an explosion of whatever Spell is being used due to miscalculating the size and location of the Spell.

Crystalsong Forest was a deliberate attempt to create Mana Crystals to draw on but suffered from a miscalculation in size and location. Same goes for the Ley-Ruins of Zarkhenar(though technically it was not a miscalculation since the Nightborne are just fine).

The Sundering was a result of Malfurion and Illidan’s Spell not anticipating the sheer force needed to banish the Demons.

Fel overdose on the other hand causes the person to explode as shown with Mannethrel Darkstar. Fel is Disorder incarnate just as the Warp Energies being sent into the Mana Forges in Netherstorm are Disorder incarnate according to Chronicle’s Cosmology Chart(which shows the Mana Forges in the Disorder Sphere).

The fact that Arcane reacts badly to Void of course means that all those Void Elf Magi including Magister Umbric are in agonizing pain every time they cast a Spell!

Ordinary Magi would be just fine throwing Arcane around left and right on the other hand.

Even Aluneth chaotic powers can kill a Arcane mage seeking it because it drives it crazy ,no one is really safe with it especially a mortal.

can’t see why not to be honest.

Yes, arcane magic, everyone uses that in WoW, even Tauren. As druids. They lead by a mage I believe.

Aluneth is an Arcane Elemental! Do you think that some native of the Realm of Order is going to let any low ranking Mage touch his prison or even stay in said prison!?

The damage he causes is him acting up not the Energies themselves going out of control! Arcane Users are Arrogant and have a Rush of Power! They do not let lowly Magi make use of them like that!

Any who impress them are permitted to work with them.

Arcane Elementals only work with those who they accept and have various motivations: Aluneth deems himself a Genius beyond the peer of less intelligent beings whom he’d discard in an instant and hungers for Arcane Energy while Anveena was a caring Soul who would not let some Undead High Elf drain her for Spells.

Insufferable Geniuses are usually hard to control since they think they know everything! Their Order is absolute! Their Order overrules yours!

Aluneth(the Arcane Elemental), Azshara, Elisande and Malygos are supremely arrogant and love to flaunt their power which is exactly why they are so destructive and hard to control requiring you to cater to their enormous ego.

I too am a Hufflepuff and a stoner

I don’t believe Aluneth to be an elemental but an entity of a self manifestation from the twisting nether with me i just like hearing his voice knowing there is more than what is seen beyond this existence .

As for arcane magic used by mortals it is chaotic in it’s rare form in this reality so it has to have a form a vessel to be focused weither a person or object . both were used with Aluneth Meitre perused while Aegwynn basically imprison Aluneth in a staff. These would work well with void elves are not to self explode.

Arcane doesn’t come from the Twisting Nether! Fel, Nether and Warp(the Purple Energy being sucked into Mana Forges in Netherstorm) comes from the Twisting Nether!

Arcane as stated by the Chronicle is of the Cosmic Domain of Order and as the Broker Documents in Tazavesh the Veiled Market attest all 6 Cosmic Realms have their own Cosmic Realm of Existence!

The Aluneth Lore mentions nothing about him coming from the Twisting Nether!

ALUNETH

Azeroth is filled with legendary relics and artifacts, but none compare to Aluneth. For hundreds of years, Guardian Aegwynn used this greatstaff to defend Azeroth from the Burning Legion.

Yet that alone is not what makes this weapon unique. An entity of pure arcane energy known as Aluneth is bound to the greatstaff. Harnessing this unruly being and its power requires tremendous precision and focus. An ordinary mage could never hope to control Aluneth.

Fortunately, you are no ordinary mage.

PART ONE

The wise and mirthful blue dragons were the first creatures on Azeroth to discover Aluneth. While manipulating the fabric of reality, they tapped into another realm of existence and made contact with the strange arcane entity.

The blue dragons loved unraveling mysteries and delving into the secrets of the universe. They were so intrigued by Aluneth’s existence that they summoned the entity into the world for further study. Aluneth immediately went on a rampage through the blue dragons’ lair, the Nexus. The arcane presence destroyed countless rare artifacts and tomes of power before finally being contained. The dragons were not angry about what had happened–they were delighted by Aluneth’s capricious nature.

Aluneth comes from the Arcane Realm and has full control over his powers and himself even when shoved into a Staff to Aegwynn’s chagrin.

Aegwynn naturally couldn’t control such a powerful being of Order as her pompous sense of Order offended Aluneth’s own pompous sense of Order with her prattling.

Malygos as shown by WoW also had a pompous sense of Order as does every Order being(including Sargeras and Azshara) we run into except Aman’Thul, Norgannon(who tried to curb Malygos’s arrogance), Eonar and Kalecgos.

As for what the Arcane Realm is: No idea! It most certainly wasn’t breached during WotLK as the Rift in the Nexus is outright stated to be the result of Malygos breaching the Twisting Nether in order to get rid of the gathered Arcane Energy he acquired in an attempt to deprive Azeroth of Magic in a pompous attempt to bring Order.

Blue team unite!

Void Elves can, Arcane Magic is pretty non-elemental and it uses time. What gets them is the Light.

Now before you start screaming: “But Dedaru, you awesome person, they can be priests!”

Well, Priests aren’t like paladins in the way that Paladins are FILLED with the Light, they are the walking beacons of it, they embody it to increase their power. Priests merely manipulate it much like Mages manipulate the elements rather than coax them like Shamans do.

Wrong.

Kinda a given… to quote Robot chicken’s Batman: “Yeah duh, it’s fire, it’s everybody’s weakness!” (ironically even in that instance he was still wrong…, nearly half the people on his list of superheroes to off would completely ignore fire)

I’d tell you if I was really a void elf.

You mean the racial’s visual?

If you could classify a profession that uses both Void and Arcane together, what would it be, and what kind of feats could you accomplish?

I play Edmund as a Time Mage and I’m trying to nail down the nuts and bolts of how he does it. Arcane has some temporal manipulation, and maybe empowered by the Void it allows him to step through space and time. Is this feasible?
