This is probably the most brain dead event in the history of WoW, I can’t even access an auctioneer lol. What is the point of this?

The point is exactly what is happening to toss the towns into chaos and ruin.
It’s an attack by the litch king not happy fun time with Santa.
Your meant to be inconvenienced your meant to want to kill him your meant to want to go and take the fight to northrend and get revenge for the chaos he’s causing.
I think the event dose a vary good job of doing that.
Not brain dead at all (as even the zombies by the warcraft lore are not brain dead why we have undead mages and other knowledge based classes) it’s pritty well done it’s simple but causes the right amount of rage to make you want to deal with it.

What the ACTUAL Blizzard. I am PAYING you 20 bucks a month to be farmed in a mayjor city, were everyone is DEAD cant use auction house, cant be cured once infected… TURN THE CRAP OFF so we can go back to being able to ACUTALLY PLAY the game. SOOOOOOO mad right now, what a waste of my money paying for a game I cant play!!!

Well you see, there’s this dude named the Lich King and he wants to kill all life on Azeroth.
And you know, he’s not just going to WAIT for us to come to him to die. That would be silly.
So he’s sent his armies of undead to the lands of the living, all the way down from Northrend, and he’s attacking us.
Ah, but the Scourge are insidious. Much like back during Third War, the Scourge are utilizing patsies in the form of cultists and plagued shipments and plagued rats and bugs.
We are under attack, Qqtt! Our very way of life, including your precious auctioneers, are under threat! Rise up, Qqtt! Rise up and face the Scourge!
… Or perhaps succumb, and join them as a mindless zombie. Succumb, and become yet another source of the spread of Undeath.
One way or another, the Zombie Event is here to stay… for just a few more days. It’ll be gone on Tuesday, and once it is, it’s gone forever. This once in a lifetime, highly immersive, story-driven prepatch event that no one ever thought would come back… will never happen a third time, I can almost guarantee it.
So just chill. Enjoy playing the game a little differently for one more weekend. Everything will be back to normal on Tuesday, and your auctions won’t have gone anywhere.

Yes you are paying to play wrath classic.
This event is a large part of wrath classic.
It’s in fact exactly what you are paying for did you not read what the xpac is.
It’s not meant to be fun it’s meant to make you want to kill the litch king your post is showing that it’s doing exactly what it’s made to do. Piss you off.

OHHHHH so blizzard are going to reimburse people the deposits they are going to loose on even 48 hr auctions? Because NO ONE can buy anything so we are wasting gold on the items we posted BEFORE this event. Its a joke. They need to make a way that people CAN CHOOSE to be involved or not. Talk to an NPC in any mayjor city to join the event, not this crap

Brosky, the event has been going on since Tuesday. You had plenty of fair warning.
Imagine going up to the Lich King and saying “Sorry, you aren’t allowed to turn me undead, I don’t CONSENT” and expecting it to work, lmfao.

No why would they those are deposits and your to pay nothing garenteed your auction will sell. You picked a bad time to list that is on you.

This is war and an attack you can’t just go oh this city’s under attack I’m out immortal time this is not a playground this is warcraft.
I bet you where the one that yelled we don’t need lockdowns for Covid we will all just opt out.
And the most wanted and waited for time of wrath is this vary week.
This is exactly what the people playing wrath classic paid for. Letting people opt out is going adverse to what is wrath classic and this event. In fact such a option ruins the event for many that was looking forward to it which is not cool ruining what is one of if not the most well know element of wrath.
For real though this event would be fun if not for layering. Tired of clearing out areas just to be popped into a Piper Perri film starring 5 zombies and me.
the people malding over this event have no idea what classic is like and what classic players have gone through.
Back in my day (phase 2 ORIGINAL classic) people had to run through a gauntlet of players from the opposite faction in in order to get to the dungeons and raids. If you weren’t there to experience this I feel like you don’t have a right to complain.
It would often take people hours just to get into the dungeon/raid they were trying to do. Not to mention the hell of trying to get world buffs through when BWL dropped in phase 3. Or the dispel griefers in orgrimar…
This chaos is a part of classic and it would be a disrespect to its spirit to remove events like these.

I feel like as a Skyfury player I have earned the right. I ran my SM and Ramparts gauntlet and have emerged victorious atop a mountain of bones.
Except it did, before SL and it will again, before SL:CLassic
