Can some non-Elven races get some love?

Godspeed OP, Godspeed. It won’t happen, but I agree with you.

Core races got their updates in 9.1.

Male Orcs literally have more combinations than any other race/gender. By like 7,000,000 combinations. 2,000,000 if you don’t count the hunch toggle.

Now they’re working on Allied Races.

I have a bridge to sell you if you believe that Void Elves haven’t been receiving special attention far beyond an “Allied Race pass on customization.”

All customization slots (i.e hair, skin, eyes, ears, tattoos, piercings, jewelry, etc…) should be available across the races and genders. Within each slot, each race should have have appropriate options. Many natural options such as hair colors should be available to all races as well.

Fairly well said. I do believe they’ll get to the other allied races, as well as add further options to the more standard races, in time. What I’d like is further transmog items for certain races, such as dwarves and gnomes. There are many orc, troll, and elven pieces out there, but not too many dwarven ones I’ve noticed.

This. The bronze dragonflight sticks its nose in everywhere else so they can easy plop a member down in the baby goblin and baby worgen zones.

The default, even on the Horde side, has always been human.

They literally got copy/pasted skin and hair tones.

But sure, call it special attention.

I actually would like to see some love for Undead, Worgens (because they need tails), Kul Tirans, Orcs, and Tauren. Its been all about elves for a while now and thats been handled.

Which were utterly transformative and essentially betrayed the founding idea of the entire race. Which you are personally taking advantage of. That is special attention.

Particularly when Orcs didn’t receive a single skin tone from non-green Orcs that have allied with the Horde over the years, even as your supposed frontrunner.

Please, can you link me to all the times Blizzard made an appearance on this board to mention expanded options from Orcs, specifically?

eye colors are worth as much as they sound buddy. far more then skin tones anyway. we have allied races whose sole distinction is or was a skin tone

I think that made more sense in your head. Care to rephrase?

That aside, I do think you guys should lean into the WCII ranger aesthetic. Get some warpaint of your own. Might actually make it feel like you belong in the Horde.

Mechagnomes; There could be more styles of arms and legs, in fact since these parts cannot be replaced by armor, they should have a number of options. For example, you can mix arm and leg styles. To have more options, I don’t know, like gadgets and weapons in the arm, antennas and cables with some Neon liquid (like Batman’s Bane), taking inspiration from other robotic characters and Androids like Rockman (Megaman, that robot with a blue helmet) Astro Boy.

And normal gnomes have mechanical ‘‘touches’’, like in Cyberpunk, sometimes only one eye is technological, the eyebrow is a metal line or have specific parts on the body that are metallized, like a cyborg

I’m desperate for some Mechagnome attention.

More robot options, full body robot options, and regular limb options. More than that, too. Paint, steampunk/literal steam, grease, oil. I don’t know. The potential for Mechagnomes, man…

They wouldn’t have received the “diaper baby” reception if they were more bold with the additions. Why limit yourself to humanoid at all?

Mostly seems like they went with the structure for Mechagnomes that they did because of WoW’s engine w/ transmog and how pieces can’t wrap around the robotic limbs. Putting gear on a robot could likely cause an issue but I guess we will see what they come up with. I really hope they do Mechagnomes or something when they work on the Highmountain Tauren.

Blind eyes for ALL races with natural eyes please.
Still silly to me how a human can be blind but a Gnome cant.

Blind eyes can add so much… I would prefer a left / right blindness toggle, though. Sometimes the eye colour you want doesn’t have the proper side blinded to align with a scar or work with a transmog and so on.

I’d go one step further and just add the ability to choose eye colors separately for each eye.

There are already heterochromatic options for some races like Worgen, lets go all in on it.

Perfect solution.
