Can not get a quest

I can not seem to get the quest A More Challenging Career . The quest giver has no quest and just says Yarrg. The toon that I am posting on is the one that can not get it.

Did you get Tattered map from a platinum node when mining? You need to have that to get the quest “A More Challenging Career”.

I do not think so. I wish they would tell you this when you look it up on line.

Indeed, the map will give you the quest “X Marks the Plat!”, as outlined in the wow comments, then you’ll be eligible for the next quest. Good luck!

I got the map but it asks for platinum nuggets not ore. How do you get nuggets instead of ore? Or is there a way to change the ore into nuggets?

you get the nuggets from mining platinum deposits/seams

You mine Platinum nodes. I’ve gotten between 1 and 3 nuggets on each of my miners.
