Can not force myself keep playing

It’s a game, don’t force yourself.
You grew out of what it offers.

Go find something that is fun for you.

You didn’t expect a traditional depiction of heaven in the afterlife?

We’re too old for this sht now.

People call you a simp because your response for the most part is…

“There’s no problem. Everyone’s just whining. Just shut up”

idc what people. im just here to let blizz know its not as bad as everyone says it is. Forum whiners have always existed and blizz should not listen to them

Forum whiners to you are essentially anyone who disagrees with your view of the game

And basically anyone who disagrees with them is a blizz simp. It goes both ways

I don’t like ppl to stay silent…

But, I also didn’t like the “I’m glad you quit” comment to OP. Rubbed me the wrong way.

The direction blizz is going with timers and this esport mentality is concerning to me. I used to enjoy challenging content, now I just wanna chill w/maybe a bit of it. Casuals have always made up the majority of this game. If there isn’t anything for them, that isn’t good, imo.

Legit, ppl who are enjoying Sl - that’s great. I think it’s an epic fail.

You mentioned pvp is not dead. It’s the worst it’s ever been from random to rated. Really confused about that…

As someone much wiser then me on the forums once said (and this isn’t verbatim)… if we all agreed our conversations would be very short. It’s fun to engage with ppl of opposite views, but sometimes we all can be a little “much”. No?

I’m trying to understand why the devs seem to think it’s a good to play their way. We have people developing this game that have no passion. Not like they used to.

It’s all a quick cash grab and it tremendously shows. I enjoy the game still but I don’t expect much of anything from the devs anymore.

They lie to us at blizzcon and feed us full of doodoo.

They keep it up and they will kill their own game.

SWGs devs didn’t listen to the community and did things there way. How’d that work out? Games dead.

I quite enjoy the timers. It gives me adrenaline. I think blizz can improve on something but it’s nowhere so bad that blizz deserves abuse

I hear ya. I too once enjoyed the timer and the “rush”. Now, I loathe it. I wish there was something else w/o a timer to get decent gear for pve.

PvP makes me sad. I’m also salty af about the state of my favorite class/spec: MW monk. Trash in pvp. Doable. But, so hard. I could go on and on but, meh.

I think for some of us it’s hard to “move on” and find another game and accept the direction blizz is taking WoW… when WoW has been apart of some of our lives for many years. Ya know?

Nobody likes change but it is inevitable. Either this will be successful for blizz either it won’t. If it isn’t then they will see a loss on subs and will have to change.

if people actually want change they need to speak with their wallets not forum accounts.

Not always the case. And in those cases I’d agree that those people are jumping the gun. But in your case even if there’s ample evidence pointing to some of the criticism going on in the game, you say everyone’s whining. That’s why people call you a simp.

Dont forget the randomness of trying to upgrade conduits with no actual way to target the ones you want fot a specific spec and probly blizz also just gonna make us refarm the same armor each patch in M+ just shows in both terms there…they do not respect out time for what we pay and then have the gal to put out 70$ mount bs for old content of tbc classic.
Likewise I am also at that point and letting my sub time out for first time since I started in tbc. Theres just near nothing worth logging on for anymore.

And the bots…i dont need to explain that.

Yeah, I don’t like the fact that I don’t like what’s happening to the game. I don’t want to feel like I’m not having enough fun to justify paying for the game anymore. It’s been a constant part of my life for 15 years, and it took a lot to make me decide I wouldn’t play anymore. This isn’t a trivial thing, and it just adds salt to the wounds that some people on the forum want to pretend like the complaints are trivial. It’s really quite obtuse and lacks empathy, as well as not understanding what this means for their game in the long run when the game no longer exists.

100% agree. Shadowlands is masochistic. WoW has NEVER (outside of content that you could choose the difficulty of) been frustrating, especially in open world content. I’m with you, I guess I’m just not a part of the target audience anymore. It’s sad but there’s other games out there, so start searching!
