Can i play Classic WoW using World of Warcraft 60 Day Pre-Paid Card?

there are World of Warcraft 60 Day Pre-Paid Cards on Amazon for sale, and I was thinking of buying some for a couple of friends. I was wondering if they can use these prepaid cards for Classic? Or is it strictly for retail WoW?

There is no separate sub for Classic. It is free with a retail sub.

Technically Classic is free provided you have game time on retail. A game card should work just fine to upgrade from a starter edition (any license that doesn’t have time) to standard edition, which would give you access to classic

So they just need to make a character in retail and login for a couple seconds and they can just hop on retail?

If they already have a retail game license with game time, they have a corresponding Classic license.

They just need to download it and they’re good to go.

Sorry i am asking dumb questions…

So they just need to redeem this card, which gives them game time in retail, which means Classic will be free for them as long as there is game time in their retail?

There’s no such thing as a dumb question, and questions are what this forum is here for! :>

But that is absolutely correct. As long as they have one retail license with game time on it, they’ll have access to a classic license for no additional charge.

They just need to keep that retail license funded to keep access to the classic client.

Does anybody know when they will start selling WoW 60 Day Pre-Paid Card at Wal-Mart?

They sell them at Best Buy, but the Best Buy in my area is closed down.

Sadly no, and Amazon might not either.

While, it’s best to start a new thread about this vs responding to a solved 5 year thread, I still wanted to answer this.

Instead of the 60 Day “Pre-Paid Card”, Blizz does offer their own 60 Day “Game Time” which yes, allows you access to Classic, as well: https://us.shop.battle.net/en-us/product/world-of-warcraft-game-time?flowTrackingId=3ef7bd87-9ab5-4ad8-b1a6-8faa06bc977a

Okay, I found this at Best Buy, Blizzard Entertainment - World of Warcraft 60 Days Subscription Card in stock.
Model:WARCRAFT 60 DAY TIME CARD SKU:5823001 Release Date:05/28/2017

Blizzard World of Warcraft 60-Day Subscription Card - $29.99 from Microcenter in stock.
Blizzard SKU: 244897 Mfr Part#: 799366653912

It’s weird that Wal-Mart doesn’t have these cards, but I guess Best Buy must have purchased a bunch of cards in 2017, 'eh?

Did you look to see if that listing showed them “In Stock”? Most online retail systems don’t remove listings even if the offered item is completely and permanently unavailable.

Can people living out in the “sticks” of Canada have Wal-Mart and Circle K have access to WoW Game Cards?

Thats where i found mine walmarts eiterh with the gift cards or in electronics with the video game cards. GL

Hey now, not all of Canada is “the stix”, well most of it, but hey I’m Canadian to. I have found balance cards at 7/11. Now I say blizzard balance NOT game time. You can use the balance to buy game time.
