was wondering if I can download the korean wow client so the game is in korean but still be able to play on NA servers? (I live in the US if that matters)
It won’t work.
You need the client for the region you want to play on.
i see. i have a friend that only speaks korean and very little english and was trying to help him out. would you know of any way?
The languages are set per region. There’s no way to alter it that I know of.

Incorrect. You can have the launcher and language in Korean on the bnet settings. Just have to install the language pack. I’m not home yet but I’ll post screenshots.

I know I can change the language for the battlenet application to korean but when I log into the US servers, everything is still in English. I was hoping my friend and I could play together on US servers but his client be in korean.
can’t be done. There is no Korean language pack for the NA client.

There used to be a case where you can manually over write WoW Korean Client to NA Client for voice and texts. You could try checking it out. I’ve seen people do that for not just Korean but also German.
Also, people can type Korean in NA Client chat. Which is neat now.
