Because it literally is. A naked Prot War with Shield Block up pushes being crushed off the hit table.
You are speaking hypotheticals that I already answered on how that doesn’t happen.
The only thing I’m doing is laughing hysterically at how angry you are.
This thread ended up being a pure gem. Glad I stopped by for the laughs and discussion. Key word discussion, notice how I continue to do that and only discuss facts and don’t get angry. You should try it out.
I dont understand why you think you know more then the theory crafters. Go watch the hundreds of youtube videos that go into detail about why warriors will be the best for mitigation.
Literally I am just explaining some facts and if you ever have the capability to have an actual discussion on the forums. It would be great. You don’t offer any counter discussion because you are so upset you can’t even clearly distinguish the facts. I wish you the best.
Some crushes can slip through if you get screwed with RNG but it won’t kill you. It’s rare but it does happen sometimes. Let’s say a boss has a mean attack speed of 3 hits every 5 seconds meaning a 1.67 attack speed. The probability of getting crushed on the last hit assuming 30% avoidance (which is on the low end for avoidance) is (1-0.3)^2 * 0.15 * 100% = 7.35%. You can only get crushed on the last hit so that would mean that the average percentage of crushing blows you would take would be 1/3 * 7.35% = 2.45%. This means you would take a crushing blow every 1/0.0245 * 5/3 = 68.0s on average or a bit less than once every minute. This is a worst case scenario by the way. You also have Last Stand if healers can’t top you up in time to survive that crush. Also Shield Block but that is on the global CD so you might not get to use it in time not to mention the long CD.
