Can I be fury prot in TBC?

Because it literally is. A naked Prot War with Shield Block up pushes being crushed off the hit table.

You are speaking hypotheticals that I already answered on how that doesn’t happen.

The only thing I’m doing is laughing hysterically at how angry you are.

This thread ended up being a pure gem. Glad I stopped by for the laughs and discussion. Key word discussion, notice how I continue to do that and only discuss facts and don’t get angry. You should try it out.

Go play Vanilla. It’s where you belong.

I dont understand why you think you know more then the theory crafters. Go watch the hundreds of youtube videos that go into detail about why warriors will be the best for mitigation.

But Prot War in TBC is way more fun and has way more depth.

Those people are not “theory crafters”, they are spectators.

They don’t do any real math.

How is this not clear?

Ask them to explain the math of what they’re suggesting. They are not going to do this.

You know why? Because they are not theory crafters. They are just spectating.

Many of them show the real math and list sources.

You are delusional if you think prot paladins will be better at mitigation especially come phase 2 and beyond.

They oom 20 seconds into a fight lmao. They probably wont even be able to hold single target threat much less mitigate the damage more effectively.

warriors and paladins are cuties

THAT IS VANILLA.

Meanwhile this guys math is this…

Yea okay great math there buddy… :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:  :joy:

Literally I am just explaining some facts and if you ever have the capability to have an actual discussion on the forums. It would be great. You don’t offer any counter discussion because you are so upset you can’t even clearly distinguish the facts. I wish you the best.

You can keyboard rage all you want.

After p1 i wouldent be suprised if top guilds sat their prot pallies to bring in a druid and warrior as their main tanks.

You are just as clueless as this whiny teenager.

You both refuse to understand that this is a different game.

Paladins have different mana regen functions in TBC.

The stats are different.

The gear is different.

The talents are different.

You guys are coming at this from a place of no knowledge and making bold claims that have no value.

your salty because prot paladins will be a bot to tank hyjal trash. While the real tank the warrior or druid tanks the bosses.

I gotta think is this legit rage? Or just trolling? Either way it amused me right up to lunch time. Now it’s run it’s course though.

Some crushes can slip through if you get screwed with RNG but it won’t kill you. It’s rare but it does happen sometimes. Let’s say a boss has a mean attack speed of 3 hits every 5 seconds meaning a 1.67 attack speed. The probability of getting crushed on the last hit assuming 30% avoidance (which is on the low end for avoidance) is (1-0.3)^2 * 0.15 * 100% = 7.35%. You can only get crushed on the last hit so that would mean that the average percentage of crushing blows you would take would be 1/3 * 7.35% = 2.45%. This means you would take a crushing blow every 1/0.0245 * 5/3 = 68.0s on average or a bit less than once every minute. This is a worst case scenario by the way. You also have Last Stand if healers can’t top you up in time to survive that crush. Also Shield Block but that is on the global CD so you might not get to use it in time not to mention the long CD.

You can play on a private server or wait until WotLK Classic.

Oh warriors. Don’t ever change

I mean we didn’t change, this is TBC all over again. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Don’t worry, you will get your turn as the top dog MT in late T6 and SwP in addition to farming trivial content.

Let’s all make a sacred pact to bump this thread at least every two months so we can come back and revisit it once TBC plays out.

They don’t have the brains to understand when things don’t go their way that they were wrong man.

This is a waste of time.

He thinks that Druids beat Warriors “in late T6 and SWP”. That’s this guys limit. He can’t understand the idea that speculation is not math.

Edit: For the record, Druid easily beats Warrior in T4/T5. It’s not even close.
