Just curious if the new class will be able to use the old firelands legendary? I think It would be cool if they could turn into a real dragon.

Since they can equip the staff and have a dps spec they should be able to since blizz did add monks to old raids for legendaries

Nope. The staff is assigned to older-caster classes, and evoker is a new caster. Possibly transmog tho? Yeah, but you can’t do the actual quest to get it.

The same argument was used for Monk - who are now rolling on the floor laughing @ those who said it.
But I will say it’s logical to hold out a skepticism that it may not be the same for Evoker, so I guess we’ll see — When live hits (not Alpha / Beta).
That was old blizz thought. New blizz prob forgot Tarecgosa is even a thing.

Hmm - Ya got me there. lol
There is a video on YouTube with someone in alpha going into Firelands to see if she could get the starting quest on an evoker with no luck. She logs out of the evoker and tries on a priest, and it popped immediately. So, apparently evokers cannot get the staff, as of now. Hopefully this will change.

I hope so, i went out of my way to farm the transmog.
I also went and did the quest for the transmog. I’m in the beta now and my Shaman who has the staff was copied over. I can transmog the staff on my Shaman so it’s in my catalog. However I can confirm that as of right now, Dragon’s Wrath is NOT transmogable on the Evoker.
I wish they would let Evokers get Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s Rest.

It can’t be transmogged either unfortunately, at least atm on beta. I have it but doesn’t show up in my xmog window but it did on my druid. 
Easier way to check:
Evoker isn’t on the classes capable of wielding it yet.
inb4 they do a demon hunter and delete it for everyone except evoker down the road. sounds like a blizzard thing to do.
So I just popped on beta, this could be a sign they are intended to be added to it eventually:
When my hunter talks to the Bronze Dragon in the Mage Tower:
She won’t talk to you, because you can’t wield the staff.
When I talk to her with my Warlock…
She offers different dialogue and then a quest.
Then when you talk to her with your Evoker…
Same dialogue as a class that can get the quest, but no quest offered.
This seems to suggest they will eventually be added to the quest.

It’s still possible because thunderfury can be mogged by dhs.
Under the item and ability discriptions on wowhead it says the evokers can use the item now

I just hopped on Beta today and my Evoker can now Transmog Dragonwrath! I will check if I can get the quest for it later.
