Can Evokers get access to Legion Artifact transmog?

If it falls within their accessible weapon types?

I’d love to rock the Silver Hand due to its Tyr connection, or the Doomhammer elemental offhands and such. I invested a lot of time into getting those unlocked, and it feels horrible not having access to them anymore (especially with the already limited transmog options of the Dracthyr).

I don’t think they have a legion artifact to begin with.

He wants Evokers to be able to use other classes’ artifact appearances.

As it stands now there’s no evoker artifact so no, they can not . . . once dracthyr get more class options though they probably will.

… which is my point. They have no connection to that system at all, even though I, as a player, invested a lot of time unlocking that stuff. In lieu of their own artifacts, I don’t think it too unreasonable to ask that they can access the transmog of the other classes.

He wasn’t asking for a specific Evoker Legion Artifact weapon, he meant access to transmog one of the current Artifacts as long as it falls within the weapon type.

And the answer is probably no; unless they unrestrict transmogging Legion Artifacts.

Altered the title for a little more clarity, even though the class and race and interchangeable terms at this point.

That doesn’t make any sense. It boils down to “I want stuff”

Would that be such a bad thing?

Yes. I do. What’s wrong with that?

They won’t be forever, Drac’thyr are pretty much guaranteed to get more class options at some point.

You can use artifacts on them then.

Yes. The artifacts are intrinsically tied to class identity. Uncoupling them would degrade that.

No that’s a terrible idea.

I’d quite like to see an original artifact weapon for them. The DPS one could be the Dragon Soul, we just need to make sure to return it to the right point in time once we’re done with it.

Not sure about the healing one though.

That’s a more reasonable request, though I don’t see it happening either tbh.

That Titan Glove Neltharion was wielding would be a strong candidate for either, or both.

It’d be a good QoL change, that for sure. But Blizzard probably won’t want to do that to preserve some semblance of class fantasy.

Heck, I would love if my Ret Paladin could use the Prot Paladin Artifact for Transmog, but that is not gonna happen, because lol, why would a Ret Paladin want to look like (s)he’s sword and board?

Lol no.

Apart for it not making any sense, it would go against the whole class centric theme of Legion and the artifacts.

Getting the appearances of weapons tied to the lore of other classes in an old expansion? No.

Getting unique cosmetic appearances for the Dracthyrs tied to the lore of dragons and aspects in the new expansion? Now we are talking.

Wishful thinking, I know. But that’s on me.

Which hasn’t been relevant for half a decade.

Well then why go through all the logic to prop it up? It’s not a bad idea - artifact appearences should be moggable across other classes.
