Can Evokers get access to Legion Artifact transmog?

All we need for Legion and other old expansions to make sense is a little Timewalking subplot.

If they want to go overkill, sure. Just say the Infinite dragonflight killed off a class hall leader, and we need to go impersonate them to ensure we can depower Sargeras’ sword.

That is, in fact, a bad idea.

I can’t argue with the iron logic. Let’s restrict things from a 5 year old expansion because the snowflakes need to feel like they aren’t throwing their lives away.

this is unlikely to ever happen. it took them long enough just to finally let us transmog the artifacts between specs on the same classes

Doesn’t matter how old it is. The artifacts are part of class identity, and in some cases deeply tied to the class backstory and fantasy. Has nothing to do with “throwing lives away” or whatever nonsense that’s supposed to be.

They take things away from people all the time. Shaman in Vanilla were gods. Times change.

To be fair, even back then, I was arguing that they should open it up further. Let the players be the arbiters of their own fantasies. If someone wants to play as an Unholy Death Knight with the corrupted Ashbringer skin he unlocked on his Paladin? All the more power to them.

Legion artifacts were class-specific. Considering Evokers only just released and Legion was six years ago (Jeez, wrap your head around that) it’s highly doubtful any considerations will be made for artifact weapons for the class.

Quite true. Which is why I would ask that they relax the class restrictions on the artifact transmog, considering.

It is quite unreasonable yes.

I kind of do. Evokers have no business in Legion, and Evokers have nothing to do with the artifact system. You don’t get to just slap on other appearances from other classes. That’d be like saying demon hunters should have access to leather tier sets from other expansions because they only had 3 sets in the beginning.

Not a fan of this idea.

I don’t think that’s unreasonable, either.

They should make a CM Gold set for DH/Evoker, slap it on the vendor, but still require the character to have the achievements to buy it.

The tears would be kinda sweat.

I also think this is unreasonable. It’s nice you wanna main Evoker, and I’m sure you’ll have a good time doing it. You can wait your turn like other people had to wait their turn for class specific things.

I haven’t tried it, but I am like 92% sure you can’t transmog artifact weapon appearances on other classes. Given artifacts were the entire schtick of Legion too, I doubt that’ll ever change but who knows. I certainly won’t cry if it does happen.

I will continue to advocate for more transmog options until I feel that it is no longer an issue. Not having access to artifacts is just a small slice of that particular issue, but still an issue I feel is worth raising.

I’d also like to see Evokers getting access to polearms, like the cinematic. Druids and Monks also use Int polearms.

And the lack of transmog on the draconic form is just a giant issue that will only become more prominent over time as the luster of the fantastic creation experience dulls. Honestly, if they just had a reasonable amount of transmog options for the draconic form, I probably wouldn’t feel compelled to find other avenues of expanding their post-creation aesthetic options.

Intellect polearms do not exist. They are an agility / strength weapon only. Unless you know of one I don’t, I have never once seen an intellect polearm, and I would like for you to link it if it does exist.

I do not have an issue with Dracthyr being able to transmog polearms, and would be fine with it. The issue is the line of other classes weapons and mogs though. Dracthyr will get their own stuff in time. They shouldn’t, and can’t be just some kind of exception to pre-established rules.

This is a separate problem and sure, I agree, Dracthyr should be able to fully transmog in dragon form. Advocate for that though. Not this.

I don’t think this would make any sense, nor be fair to the other classes. But I could see maybe a quest line similar to the fishing pole artifact or the recent Dark Iron heritage weapons, where you go through the various Dragon Isles zone and fill in their backstory/history some more.

I dont see this happening, lore wise the Dracthyr didnt help stop the legion. They were all asleep. What artifact would they get considering they didnt do anything during legion?
