Can Bolvar still create Death Knights? New Races?

I know the excuse for giving Allied Races the Death Knight class was that Bolvar raised them after “the fourth war” when he had the Helm of Domenation

and then the Helm of Demonation got broken in half…

Honestly wondering, is Bolvar still able to raise new Death Knights, or did he need the Helm of Denomination to do that?

Wondering what the implications would be if new races were added in the future in regards to playable Death Knights

i think the DeathLord pc can from the horsemen quest can
also the horsemen can if i recall

I vaguely remember in some legion class hall dk quests where through solemn ritual that takes multiple adept Ebon Blade Knights focusing their power to create a new death knight and without the helm. I could be wrong.

DKs could create the Horsemen by channeling the Lich King’s power.

And we could create minions for our mission table but I don’t think those were real DKs or they were not cannon. Can’t remember which.

Sounds so strange for our Dracthyr to corrupt the dragons but it could be playable.

Pretty sure the only reason the players were able to create the Horsemen in Legion was due to Bolvar lending them to power to do so.

Eh, DKs came before the helm, we will just start a 6th(?) gen.

Those were a different kind of DK though. Orc warlock ghosts possessing human knight corpses.

They could go that route I guess, but that’d be a whole 'nother ball game.

That’s why they would be a new generation, more like gen 1. They all share the same spells, really just a matter how we got them animated.

DK PCs can’t canonically go around making more of themselves lol

The Lich King never particularly raised many DKs to begin with, most were resurrected by the Cult of the Damned and other lesser means of necromancy. It’s even mentioned I believe, that you are one of very few DKs personally raised by the LK in the first intro quest.

The Mechagnome DKs have created a factory that can make DKs on demand.

Considering you got your butt kicked by the handful of rear guard that was there, I don’t think DKs could wipe out the Paladins even if they even wanted to.

Rule of cool: if players want more death knights, the writers will find a way to rationalize it.
