Well, if players would stop making 1000’s auctions each by posting cloth and ore in stacks of 1, it might be a whole lot better.

Well it sure does not help either.
Players also didn’t wholly congregate onto high pop super mega servers either. This seems to be a high pop server issue that’ll likely solve itself as population goes down.

this is exactly the issue, pages and pages of 1 item with equates to, and yes I have counted, 20 pages to get to bulk items. obviously this will slow it down.

Yeah, that’s just kinda one of the cons of rolling on those super high pop streamer servers. Blizzard does warn you before you create a character on those realms that stuff like this happens.
How does this have to do with the AH? this has never been an issue on high pop realms, that “warning” is about server queues. not an unuseable AH.
Yep, have barely used the AH in about a month because it’s been so stupidly slow.
Because the large amount of players and by extention, the large amount of auctions, is the likely cause of the lagging AH.
That’s why only players on mega streamer servers like Faerlina are having issues with the AH.
The warning is about lag and anything else wherein population has a factor in gameplay.

dude you clearly dont know what you’re talking about. this has never been an issue before on blizzard servers, don’t come in here and be like “OH YEAH WELL BLIZZARD SAID IT WAS A THING” when it’s never been a thing.
all of classic the AH was fine on faerlina with no 20+ sec delay on buying/selling.
yes the warning is about IN game lag, like spell delay, or disconnects, not about the AH. it’s never been a warning about the AH.

This isn’t really relevant. The fact of the matter is that this stuff happens on those full population servers. The game even warns you that it happens.
Not much else to say but that. In a few weeks, when people stop playing and posting as many auctions, the lag will be reduced.
Great, more advice from another armchair software engineer, here to tell all of us about how the AH DB works and how it is impervious to lag or being overloaded by too may auction records.
are you serious? this is why i hate the blizzard forums so much. full of shills that back anything blizzard does and goes “working as intent” without knowing the issue.
go play the game and stop trolling the forums. it’s been unuseable since classic got upgraded to shadowland client and people want a reply from blizzard.
You are one to talk. You come up here acting like you somehow KNOW how everything works on the backend. Like you have some inside knowledge about how the game is coded or the backend databases work.
You cannot accept that this might be a problem created by the players. Oh no, it has to be Blizzards fault and they NEED to fix it.
Point is, this appears to only be an issue on high pop servers, which is telling right there. And yes, you are warned that playing on these servers might have issues related to high populations.

I never said it was working as intended. I’m merely pointing at the fact that this type of lag is typical while playing on high population realms. That’s why Blizzard warns you about it BEFORE you create a character on those realms.

Neither of us really know what the issue is either. I’m just speculating that it seems to be a cause of an excessively high population – and high amount of auctions posted. If that’s the case, that’ll solve itself… it’s just one of the cons of playing on a high pop realm during big launches like this.

it comes down to… you pay your sub then everything is fine.
You want something fixed that you pay for. that’s fair and reasonable.
if you wanna get ahold of blizzard play everquest or fortnite. they dont play there own game or it would of been fixed a week ago at least.
you don’t keep paying monthly for something broken or it will never get fixed
Where did I say I knew what going on? I explained when it started to happened. That’s it, You’re putting words into my mouth. you’re just another blizzard trolling shill baiting people into reacting badly so you can report them.
I pay 15 dollars a month to play the game, I want to use the AH in order to play the game but I can’t. So I want answers or at least blizzard to acknowledge the problem. This is 100% on blizzard and you two are not being helpful at all.
So move to a lower pop server. Otherwise you were warned about the issues that can appear when playing on high pop servers.
