Its practically impossible to get in a group unless you know all of the fights; but if you’ve never done them how are you supposed to know how to do them? Can blizzard consider adding LFR with nerfed loot so inexperienced players can learn how to raid?
You can… you know, watch any of the 100 guides on Youtube?
Many guilds will take inexperienced players as long as you’re willing to learn. But yes if you want to perform well watching a guide or asking someone for tips is the way to go. It’s also not like Raids in Wotlk are the most complex, you shouldn’t have too much difficulty understanding the mechanics. Anyway, we really don’t need LFR. The point of raiding is to find a community you like and hopefully stick with it.
LFR is the worst thing to EVER happen to wow and its not even remotely close.
They have to balance a FOURTH version of the raid, and allow people to completely AFK, be absolutely toxic, and never learn how to actually play the game.
LFR allows people to never learn their class, or how to actually play, and allows them to skate by doing nothing to improve their play.
No chance.
Is it really? I suppose it gets harder and harder as the content progresses. I don’t think anyone has ever asked me if I knew any of the encounters, so far.
My god it’s 2023 this statement would make sense in current day before YouTube blew up, but there’s literally 100s of creators putting up guides hoping people smash that like button learning how to do Ulduar. Go support a creator and dropkick that like button.
The attitude of…telling people there are lots of video guides available?
okay
Wtf toxic crap is this I was just tryna be helpful lmao
I just read it.
You’re right. I took what You said out of context and misinterpreted it, and I apologize.
This next part is not directed at you…
^^^^^ This is what integrity looks like.
LFR is a hard pass, want to kill the game for good? Then add in LFR.
Blizzard needs to revamp the world, add LFR, add RDF, update the models, add transmog but the latest kind, use the latest balance patches available, tune the classes further in a way that was never present in these expansions or any expansion whatsoever making it brand new adjustment, revamp the UI so it’s more modern or like retail
And then we’ll call it
CLASSIC WoW!!!
I said it in another post, but I think if we go to Cata they need to drop the “classic” title and go for progression servers. Wrath feels closer to cata than Vanilla and slapping “Classic” on every new expac doesn’t make it actually Classic
Almost like it’s a Story Mode difficulty for people who don’t care about endgame success yet still wanna see Illidan murk Gul’dan?
Byt why? How else can I learn without gaining experience
Join a guild. Not every guild out there is going to require alot of experience, and there are guilds out there that need members and are willing to teach new players the ropes.
without someone to carry you, how will you learn?
How does lfr create any of those scenarios? People are already toxic, brain dead and they still have issues balancing a game that’s already been completed. There is no stopping the lfr rdf train friend. Don’t partake if you don’t want to
No. Just no.
Then go on YouTube and watch it there. That or they should build a cinematic so you can watch the garbage and never do it.
Getting your hand held through LFR is quite possibly the worst answer.
It’s not coming ever since people complained about that train all the way back in retail/WoD and blizzard released classic as compensation.
I never understand the argument of “stuff is ****ed anyway, let’s exacerbate it and **** it harder” how about no?
