Considering the drop in subs from WoD onward, most of the people who played this game share my opinion.
Wrath had virtually no sub growth. Cata lost millions. MoP lost more. WoD lost the most. The game has been slowly dying for a decade.

WoD lost the most. The expansion that took away flying and started pruning classes and really cut the content. Yep. They havenât addressed any of that.

What exactly are you questioning? WoW puts out the least content and it is very low quality. There is absolutely NO player agency in the main âstoryâ or any side quests. You either do them or not. Lol.
On top of their really poorly written story you have 8 dungeons and one raid. The dungeons you will do 1000 times and they even have the same affixes from previous expansion.
The world quests are designed to take as long as possible and the reward of 35 anima makes it not worth doing honestly.
The Maw is still as empty as it was the day they revealed it in Beta and we told them the zone is trash.
Torghast is probably the worst offender of all. If not for the mandatory soul ash I doubt very many people would run it.

Not really, thereâs some long, and a bunch that are very short. Also itâs 35 anima per item if you do those, I tend to do the gold ones.
Were you expecting it to be full of people at all times? With something like Eye of the Jailer?
And hereâs where we definitely disagree, I have a blast in Torghast cause of the Anima Powers.

6 month tiers is basically perfect for ~2 year expansions with 4 raid tiers like Legion and BFA. They both though shorted their first raid too soon.
And CN is longer and MUCH harder than Emerald Nightmare and Uldir.
WoW being an MMO is no excuse for the story being crap. Other MMOs donât have a problem with player agency. You know the other part of WoW the RPG portion. WoW is an MMORPG.
I expect the Maw to be a fully fleshed out zone not not an alpha version with a handful of mobs.
Again, this is a game we pay a PREMIUM price for. Full price expansions and a sub fee AND a cash shop that charges 60.00 for a character boost. There is no excuse for the lack of content, and the poor quality of what we are getting.

Come clean and tell us more about 9.1 rather than make us wait for PTR and Wowhead to do their thing, people want to also know what is coming and see if it is worth playing for.

PTR will more than likely be going live next week. We will get initial patch notes around Thursday, if not Wednesday. This was announced and just wasnât stickied like most Blue announcements. However, we did know that 9.1 PTR was coming soon due to the leaked information about the time frame. The only issue about the leaked info was that the dates for 9.1 and BC Beta were flipped. This was really a known date by a good sum of people.
That being said, 9.0.5 was condensed and made into a smaller bug fix / systems patch instead of a minor content patch. That content was either pushed to 9.1 due to the delay with launch or scrapped altogether to keep 9.1 âon timeâ. Either way, 9.1 is roughly in the slated time frame for launch, if only delayed by about a week or two.
Yes, it does suck that we didnât get a few content pieces with 9.0.5, but Iâm okay with that if they are just going to be added in 9.1. Even if they did get scrapped, they probably werenât going to be some game changing content.

I didnât read a single one of them. But can I guess itâs at anywhere from 110-119 posts whining about the release date of 9.1 ⌠and ZERO actually taking note that there is plenty of stuff from the actual release of 9.0 that weâre playing right now that is BROKEN!
Why do I have to do that bouncy-flowers WQ in Bastion and still cross my fingers that Iâm not going to fall through at least three times before I can complete it? Why do we still have 20%+ disparity between classes with ZERO effort to reign it in?
Can I also assume that everyone raced to lv60, raced to this, raced to that, raced to EVERY bit of content⌠and are now complaining âthereâs nothing to do?â
The players will never admit itâs their own damn fault, so you can at least focus on the fact Blizz sold us a buggy product that IS NOT being addressed. Name another company that can do that sort of thing in 2021.
