So, it was a different item. Hence, eligible to roll need
In a raid, yes.
Everyone is there for the pay day, which is to get a roll of the dice for loot.
They won.
You are confusing an exploit with something you dislike.
I’ve decided this topic is no longer worth my time.
Winning isn’t the OP’s issue. They’re fine with someone else winning the roll. They are not fine with people selling the loot.
Just crazy, why even have a “xmog” roll then? Doesn’t make sense
So the other player won an item from a fight they participated in.
Whether they equip it or disenchant it or sell it is completely up to them.
Why do people have a problem with it? It was never your loot in the first place.
No you’re conflating something being possible with something being correct or intended. Possible =/= correct or intended. Scalping is not legit and should result in bans. You’re not changing my mind.
Because these aren’t BoEs to be sold on the AH. It’s simply bad form that gives even more incentive for people to always roll need.
It’s not against the rules. It’s not an exploit. It’s nothing like that. It’s just… pretty degenerate. Which is entirely opinion based, but at the same time, if people couldn’t sell the gear, they would have a little less incentive to constantly roll need.
hard disagree here based on descriptions of the roll choices but otherwise yes it’s absolutely degenerate behavior. Then people wonder why their random groups take forever to fill.
You lost.
Grow up and accept it.
Fair, unless he was carried.
Was he or did he put his weight?
What were the loot rules?
An exploit is when people find a bug and use it to their advantage. This isn’t a bug. This isn’t against the rules. They allow cross faction gold trading. They allow for that person to roll need per the loot rules.
None of that is exploiting.
That’s funny… because he literally did in the very next sentence.
Fine, i will take my lost.
I’d say it depends on how much.
Someone got a bis item and was trying to get me to pay them 100k.
Like get outa here. I’ll try again next week.
It’s not that I can’t pay that, its the principle.
Now if they had said like 20k-30k. Fine whatever. But 100k?
People defending a guy that clearly stated he did not need the item but only hit need to sell, cool.
I don’t care to try to change your mind. You’ve committed to rules that exist in your mind and nobody elses. I’m just pointing out how you are objectively incorrect to anyone else who comes by.
not everything is conspiracy
They need to make needing BoP
No you’ve tried to push you subjective opinion as objective fact and reading words into blizzard statements that simply are not there. You’re defending people who are admitting they don’t need the item, but want to turn around and sell it. So yeah sorry but you’re wrong but welcome to believe whatever you want to.
You’ve quite literally done those specific things. Anyone who is literate can see you are obviously lying.
