Can a carry be reported?

A question.
Is it possible to report a player who is receiving carry or in this case hindering the progress of a M+ created group?
I have come across a player who was obviously being carried.
And he did everything possible to make the M+ difficult until the end (it was a +13).
In the sense that he was left afk several times, he died due to very simple mechanics (which even bordered on absurdity for a normal player) and to top it off he didn’t even know how to use “LUST” or “BL” or “Time Warp” being a mage and even when I asked him to.
Can this be reported or is it also considered a carry service within a guild? (I ask because it is annoying that they waste the time of World players who are committed to making progress).
While others receive gold for the efforts of other people.

It is not against the rules to carry friends, or even to charge gold for it. I am sorry, but there is nothing there to report that I can see here. Unless I am missing something.

What is against the rules is advertising a carry for gold in the wrong chat channel

They also do not allow organized carry services outside the game - so you should not see advertisements for Murgrargle’s Carry Service in chat.

Of course, anything for real money is also against the rules!

The funny thing is that if you are unlucky enough to fall into several groups like the one you mentioned and, if you leave all of them, you can be punished for it. But, players who are absent in such a high key and no one warns that it is a carry, there is no problem with that.

I understand, thanks :frowning:

Maybe in the future, they will implement it.
Because it is really too uncomfortable and it is too obvious that he is a carry.
Because one thing is helping friends and another is carrying a person (who also gets afk several times).
Because I say, nobody would like to waste 30min to not achieve their objective in the end (I mean timing a M+).
But anyway, thanks for your answers

If someone is underperforming to that level that it’s making it clear that the key will not be timed, you’re always free to leave.

And then there’s the sabotage reporting system.
If they bother, the other 3-4 players (in case they’re a party running) can report you, and if you get those reports, you’ll probably get banned, and even if you appeal, it’s annoying too.

This was the experience of a friend of mine, who literally left a +11 dungeon because the rogue in the dungeon was literally doing 500k dps (she was streaming on Discord) and she often died as if she didn’t know how to do the dungeon (which doesn’t make sense when the rogue has 2.8k raider. io players).
But well, that would be all.
Thanks Mirasol above all for the support

That’s not how the reporting system work. Just reporting someone doesn’t get someone action as the GM who look at the report will go through it and see, if anything, was done against the rules.

Blizzard actions folks for this when they had a history of leaving M+ dungeons, think of it like 10+ times which would be beyond reasonable. A few times can be forgiven as things does happen and you have to drop a game for real life events. But it isn’t something when it becomes a clear pattern.

You can’t “sabotage” the reporting system. I don’t think that’s the word you’re actually looking for. In any event, Zenjy already covered that the report system doesn’t work in a vacuum where if it gets enough reports…boom! Account banned. We know this because if that’s how it worked, there’d be little to no accounts left. Nor would there be any botters.
