You could quit, like you said you were going to in about a dozen threads a couple months ago. Alternatively, you could do what you’re doing now (paying them solely to whine and complain on the forums.)
People have come up with far better ways of insulting me using my name, be creative.
That fact that so many people insult you and you keep track of all those insults is hilarious to me lol, you’re out here collecting hate comments like it’s pokemon.
Agree. In wotlk, my son had an 80 paladin who ran us noobs through dungeons when he wasn’t raiding. This new-fangled wotlk-classic is a weird version of the game.
Well in the eyes of Blizzard and this community your son would be an RMT Gold Seller trying to undermine the very foundation of the game.
Boosters = Bad but $50 Store Boosts = Good.
You’ve received more insults in two months than I have in five years posting here. Of course you spend about fifteen hours a day posting, so that’s bound to be the case.
Every superhero needs his theme music, the hate only makes me stronger.
This is my playlist every time I log into Classic and see how dead the game is and knowing that I have to go run Naxx again for the 50th time to get a 7k payout from terrible, but rich players.
I do think the anti-boosting measures were a little heavy handed, but it does seem fair that if you get a high level to run you through then you don’t get as much XP. Your friends will still get the xp reward from the quests you’re helping them complete.
It does generally kinda suck though that you can’t help your friends once you’re too high a level. It’s either make an alt and catch up to wherever they are, or shrug your shoulders and say, “Hang in there, we can play together when you hit level cap.” Even retail, with the level scaling breakpoints they have, hasn’t quite really solved this… which is surprising because so many other MMOs either scale you to the content, or allow you to scale yourself to your friend’s level.
Honestly, as crazy as it sounds, for anti-boosting changes they should have just let you sync your level to your friends, locking your level to theirs. Your gear would scale down appropriately (and very conservatively), and any abilities/talents that you wouldn’t have access to at the scaled level would be disabled. Then you can go play with your friend and help them out.
I feel like that would have rounded out the anti-boosting changes, achieving the same disruption of the boosting economy but still ensuring people could help each other out in a more appropriate way.
Boosting had been happening and existed for 15yrs. It was never a problem until the new generation of entitled crybabies and their safe spaces
Amazing how frequently you run end-game content in this supposedly ‘dead’ game.
I get gold and swap them to tokens for free game time, for like 2- 3 hours of work I play for free for months on end and can buy whatever I want off the bnet store including other game stuff for OW/CoD/etc using the game balance.
WHere are these level boosts they are selling?
If ulduar does not bring back the masses and not have them raid logging 5 days a still…I’d see this (more than boost t that is) coming.
RDF or more than 1 boost. one of these could help to carry this a year more.
One of these would be the more acceptable option by players. and saves face better. It be more boosts as I see it.
as I am sure even a few several 80’s out there would go “i can scrape up 45 to 60 for this for one more alt as I really don’t want mines/wc again”.
and it keep them on better terms with the anti-rdf’ers. and keeps the no rdf stance a “success”. I’d give it to them too.
yes, you won! as i post from a future 2nd boost hunter lol. they’d get what they want. people like me get what we want
(alts not taking 2 months)…life would be good.
This not the phase for rdf.
Yeah, damn reds…
Yes, it does. Which is why it did. Blizzard thought of this in 2003 prior to the release of Vanilla.
You might be able to sell heroic dungeon boosts. Like a few thousabd for a full clear where they get everything. You’d need help for this, but it’s something.
Thank the Chad’s for this one. A small minority of ppl qq’d about boosting and now I can no longer help my low level friends. When nothing was going on I could always find a group of lowbies to assist in deadmines, Ragefire, SM, etc. OH but a group of Chad’s who try to control the game had to cry and ruin it for everybody.
What is more detrimental to the game?
Boosters
Or
Chad’s
For me the answer will always be the Chad’s.
The same ones who cried about RDF
