Well, no, since people could still boost if they wanted to.
Yes, they do. Stratholme would be considered a lower-level dungeon.

Maybe it’s 58+ and they consider it “high level”.
Remember they copied SoM classic’s code.
You can gather up everything in SM and the nerfs don’t impact it.
But that doesn’t make much sense in terms of eliminating boosting.
If we look back on Classic, you’ll remember that boosting happened from level 10 to 60. So, why would Blizzard ignore most of the dungeons and only implement the stuns for a few?
Granted, they did add specific changes to Maraudon to combat boosting, which falls short of level 58.
They likely just copied what they used on the SoM servers and all new dungeons.
I don’t know if they target specific dungeons or levels. I don’t know how it was coded nor have I investigated the details beyond what I run into.
I don’t run Mara much at all, but I do know it was used for boosting a lot so it doesn’t surprise me.
But here’s the problem…
If we look at the 58+ theory, which isn’t a terrible theory, Maraudon wouldn’t be included.
However, if we were to look at it in terms of popularity within the boosting community, Maraudon WOULD be included, along with Stratholme and Zul’Gurub. But, both Scarlet Monastery and Stockade were left untouched.
Likely because it wasn’t worth it. The mobs can be collected and killed quickly unless you’re just seeing how many you can get at once. Although last night my alt got 0 xp from SFK. I don’t know if that was a 1 off bug or what.
SM Cath has some reset mechanics too so you can’t pull all of it at once. I need to try just running to the boss.
Boosting is not bad or wrong.
I think it’s very bad.
“I’m going to pay you so I don’t have to play.” is never good for a game.
You do you. I’ll do me. Thanks for playing.
The Original Classic Wrath didnt have any time of limits for boosting, this part has been limited and it has hurt other areas of the game, before it was possible to do a lot more.
original wraith was a fun game that encouraged party play and generally just felt alive and fun to be in. this miserable thing calling itself wraith is like a bad private server that was abandoned by its owner. If the real wraith had been this dead and janky, wow wouldve ended 10 years ago because noone would want to play. WTF kind of mmo goes out of its way to force players to play completely alone for weeks-months on end. Absolute trash design decisions with classic
Yes we need to roll back the anti boost patch. Everyone agrees.
