My gun will not fire. I right click on an enemy but it does nothing. Sorry, I’m a newbie.
Assuming you mean this character, guns were made mainly hunter weapons for sometime, I don’t think warriors have the shoot ability.

Well that makes sense. I wonder why it allows me to have a gun as a warrior but I can’t use it??
It is strange that it let you equip the item.*
If you look at your spellbook you should see a spell called “Weapon Skills” that will tell you what weapons you can use.
*Edit: Thanks to some clarification below and some additional research - the ability to equip seems intended even though it’s not a weapon class that warriors use.

Back when warriors, rogues, etc., could shoot guns, they had a “Shoot” skill.
Clicking the skill would enable you to fire one shot at a time.
There was even a gun with great warrior stats on it (Rowan’s something about Silver Bullets).
Hunters were the only class that could auto-shoot rather than just use single shots.

Thats how i got the bow from sunwell made the hunter realy angry when he said he basicly carried the group on my warrior i should clarify.

I’ll admit, I spent a lot more time double checking myself before posting in this thread because after 13yrs it all blurs together 
One of the common tickets I used to take as a Game Master was from caster classes that would put their wand on their action bar instead of the spell to auto attack.
So a part of me was like “Wait… CAN warriors still use guns?!”

Hello, not only can warriors equip bows/guns, they’re added to the transmog library as well 
Now, we can’t transmog a sword into a gun or anything like that (yet), but our hunter alts get access to the mogs 
The only things we can’t equip are wands and warglaives, with the exception of the Azzinoth glaives since they’re swords.

Learned something new… That is a pretty cool farming hint for those trying to get mogs for their alts though.
