So this issue is still in the game where in a any difficulty, and taking either a long or short time to kill King Rastakhan, the door up the stairs fails to unlock.
Vrakthris in another post says it’s not a bug but is intended due to “things not triggering the way they are intended.”
I just spent ~20min meleeing Rastakhan down as a warlock and still the door is locked.
After ~3 years and this raid not being able to be completed, it’s time to do something about it.
THen u need to either post in the dungeon raids scenario forums for the dev to see it vrak wont pass it along here nor will they see it or report it as a bug in the bug forums.

Weird that the system works that way. Seems like a flawed system.
This is the one forum that isnt monitored by the developers its more of a player to player help desk with blue moderation.
I wonder why they even call it “Customer Support” then. Anyways.
Did you try going the other way on that hallway? I always run the wrong way, but I think I go down to leave the area?
Edit: just tested on this character. Nuked the boss then went left in that hallway, down the stairs. Doors were open just fine.
Going to the right up the stairs leads indeed to a dead end.
Edit 2: Even as Horde you follow the same path and go left, down the stairs.
