Can’t buy TWW Epic Edition due to balance limit

The “cap” on Blizzard Balance from WoW tokens is 100$. Buts its not the real cap, the real cap is lower, because if you have 85+ dollars, you cannot redeem a gold token. TWW with taxes is like 97.

So the real cap is too low to buy TWW.

Please raise the Cap to like 120$. As people try to convert their gold to balance for TWW beta access they’re going to be having issues with this cap.

Actually the balance cap is somewhat higher if you’ve an authenticator attached to your account.

For example on the EU, with authenticator it is 250€ and without is 110€. I imagine it is around the same for the NA region. Edit: Cap for NA is 350$ according to Kyzer’s post with an authenticator.

What you can also do is first buy the base edition, add the balance from the wow token then upgrade to the epic one as that will only charge you the difference from the base to the epic upgrade.

This is also not the correct forum for suggestions, you may suggest any through the ingame box or the most appropriate non-support forums by moving this through your opening post’s pencil.

Hmm, that is odd as the support article makes no distinction on cap in reference to how the Balance is added.

Adding Battle.net Balance

You can add Battle.net Balance up to a maximum of $350/€250/£200, or $110/€110/£100 if you do not have an Authenticator linked to your account. Battle.net Balance caps vary depending on your currency.

Bah. I was in a meeting. I was like… I’ll link that article as soon as I get out… but noooooo. Kyzera has to beat me to it. <3

thank you, the option for a Heroic or Epic upgrade didn’t appear on the shop window until AFTER I bought the base game. I was able to get it with the two steps.
