I have one toon at LVL 84 that seems to have campaign tracking disabled. Any quests that are campaign quests do not display the shield-quest icon, but rather just use the basic circle quest icon. Further, there’s no campaign heading in my quest log, nor a campaign tracker at the top of the log. Also, in the adventure guide, there isn’t anything related to campaign quests.

For which expansion are you looking to do campaign quests?
Honestly, I have no idea, Mooculese. I didn’t know that there was a way to turn that off.
I haven’t seen any other similar responses but I would definitely submit a bug report, if you post in the Bug Report forum, try to include shots of what you are seeing (i.e. your quest log, the NPC for the campaign quest, the map that should so it, etc…) . You can use the 'Preformatted text` option to post URLs to an imgur link or something similar.
Have you tried a UI Reset Mooculese?

Edit: I note the cvars because a week or two ago I was playing around with auto quest tracking (again). Not much of a fan with auto populating and auto marking maps, etc. It gets kinda deep there, the interconnected stuff, mani map, etc and cvar options, so I just reverted it and will deal. Which is where I tend to always end up lol…except for spell woosh. That I made an addon for!
I tested on his character myself and saw the same thing, so it does not appear to be strictly a UI issue.
I don’t know of any way to turn off Campaign tags or adjust the quest log to not show chapter progress/suggestions. It’s entirely possible that happened as the result of an addon, but no idea how to get those back if so.
