Hello,
With the recent patch it looks like the camera is no longer centering properly on flying mounts. I’ve observed that it’s in a different location for every mount. This resolves immediately upon landing on the ground but then reverts back to broken once flying.
Mounts I’ve found affected:
Plagued Proto-Drake - Camera centers well above mount/player
The Dreadwake - Camera centers beneath mount/player
Red Proto-Drake - Camera centers well above mount/player
Time-Lost Proto-Drake - Camera centers well above mount/player
I’ve also confirmed this isn’t happening for all flying mounts (and DOES NOT happen for all Proto-Drakes).
Can you please investigate and fix this? I really love my Plagued Proto-Drake I’d hate to have to stop using it because of this bug. It makes it really hard to navigate on the vertical plane when the mount is partway off the bottom of the screen.
Update: A guildie just confirmed he sees the same issue, including with Violet Proto-Drake.

I’m experiencing the same issue. Here are the ones I found out to be bugged:
Blue Proto-Drake
Green Proto-Drake
Red Proto-Drake
Time-Lost Proto Drake
Violet Proto-Drake
These ones use a similar model but are not bugged:
Ironbound Proto-Drake

yes this is happening for me too tryied reloading UI and tried changing the graphics resolution but i didnt know it was for certain flying mounts! i love my green proto drake this is annoying i guess i’ll just switch to a different flying mount…

ya i switched to a couple different mounts and my camera perfect now thanks bruh

Can we get some visibility on this please? This is still an issue and for many of us we are unable to use our favorite mounts now.

Please Blizzard can we get some eyes on this and acknowledgement of the issue? I really want my favorite mount back. This is crazy that it’s been broken for this long.

Just chiming in again, this is still a thing. Happening with most if not all of my Proto Drakes. Would be cool to see some sort of Blizz response on this, even if it’s just a “we acknowledge that this is an issue and we are working on it.” You would be surprised how much that helps when doing customer service.

Having the same issue. I was going crazy trying reload UI and adjust camera angles.
I do not think that I had this issue before a few days ago.

It happened to me as well with the Grove Defiler

To add to this, the same proto-drakes that have the camera problem ALSO no longer roar during their special animation. The animation is there, just no sound.
