The only change in the game is to an icon. There isn’t even hover-over text that says “Body Type 1” it’s literally just a change from a

The mouse-over text in the dragonflight client does say body 1 and body 2. It’s even on the PTR right now for anybody to see.
Not that that’s worth being upset over.
Oh sorry I was looking at it on live and on classic. Although I agree, even if there was big flashing text on your screen that said “YOU PICKED BODY TYPE ONE” would it be something to write a 3000 word complaint over lmao

Who was upset about that? I’ve commented in over a dozen threads angry about it saying “body type” but never seen a single thread about it being ‘objectifying’ when it said male/female

No, I wasn’t. It was fine. It never needed to be taken away, what needed to happen was something being added that is all. Calling it Body Type 1 and 2 just feels like it shuns the existence of cis female and cis male.
The only possible benefit of this change is if they add more body types tbh. There are already many other npc body types in game, so it could be a quick customization win
