“Conservatism” cannot survive without an enemy to hate, or it will devour itself.

The businesses are fleeing California thing always cracks me up. They’re moving their HQs to a more tax friendly state, that doesn’t mean the business suddenly stops existing in CA. Hell, many of them would collapse without the CA market.

The people fleeing to other states aren’t going to turn them blue either. Most of the people leave because they don’t like the politics, or just can’t afford to live there anymore.

As if I planned to ever step foot in California again.

It can’t be any worse then living in Sydney Australia run by gangs and criminals now people with money are moving to the Country regions. Australia was the lucky country once not anymore.

Well, they did just bow to their overlords and literally just handed over their firearms to the government LOL, sounds like they are living in exactly the environment they asked for.

never say never. we did get a congressional pay raise amendment passed in the past. it’s possible, just unlikely.

I live in California. (Born, raised and still live here at age 66.) We have some pretty good stuff coming out and returning this year, a whole lot still needs to be done and some of the stuff already here needs a “fix.” But it’s not a bad place to live. Well, most of time. lol

But overall we aren’t too bad. Just um, ignore the drought, fires and earthquakes.

A large part of our bacon already comes from decent “farms.” So honestly this isn’t as big of an issue as some people make it out to be. Chicken for the most part (as well as egg producers) are also already in free range or large pens.

Some places are just fussing about something they were told 3 years ago to do and now it’s law and they have to do it.

Power is only relinquished when it’s forced to. Even then, it’s reluctant to swap hands.

I live in California about the cheapest I’ve seen bacon is 5 to 6 bucks or so for a pack. It’s not that bad. I love bacon, but I don’t really buy it a lot.

I can still remember the smells of pig farms along I-8 between El Centro and Seeley

That may be true but it still dosent make it right. People have choices.

Didn’t used to be like that. I remember when it was so much fun, a really nice place to live.

Seems like a long time ago now. I stayed long enough to watch it become as corrupt as NYC.
It’s both insane and sad.

Sometimes you say some of the coldest, most thoughtless things.

It’s interesting how you misspeak and in turn get dragged through the mud because of it. It was pretty disgusting to read/watch.

I feel really good about myself thinking that my bacon cheeseburger might have chased butterflies in the pasture at some point.

Good riddance. We have had decades of everyone flocking here and driving prices up.

…are you sure it’s the people driving up the prices or is it the policies and politics?
