Calia as Sylvanas 2.0

No, Pale Lady is way better.

Also, surprised this didn’t hit me as soon as you posted it:
How many members of the Desolate Council have unique models?

Spoilers

It’s one.
The answer is one.

Lillian has a unique model. She’s had a unique model since Legion at least.

Alright man have fun with your absolutely relentless pessimism.

No she doesn’t. She uses player features.

If you want us to stop then Blizzard should give us something better then a half hearted questline which doesn’t even give us the chance to open up Undercity again.

I also noticed she had Yellow eyes now. I wonder if that was deliberate or just an oversight.

The Forsaken actually can have blue eyes now. Before some of them randomly did which was weird. I initially thought it meant they were a Death Knight but then Voss had blue eyes too so clearly that wasn’t the case.

Small detail and probably not that consequential but something I noticed.

Forsaken players don’t have ripped off faces sewn on, she has a unique model.

Pallid has connotations with death, sickness, etc.

Tbh though they can just ditch that title in general. Really does smack of a lack of creativity.

Well they had the Dark Lady so now they need another Lady

It’s just unnecessary really.

You don’t have to have a unique face to have a unique model…under Maiev’s armor she’s a generic NE model. Putriss was a unique model he was just armor.

If you are saying Calia is leader based exclusively on her having a unique model that’s rediculous.

Calia is not the leader of the Forsaken. The questchain makes that ultra clear.

Dang shots fired.

Something just occurrd to me.

Calia has no authority to order anyone around. Belmont and Velnora do.

But the Forsaken absolutely did pull all their forces into Tirisfal to help with it’s reclamation.

So from the sounds of it Calia deceived Genn by pretending this troop movement was a show of good faith when in actuality it was a strategic decision that had nothing to do with them.

Clever girl.

I took screenshots of the quests but I don’t remember offhand.
I’ll look at them later.

Still not their racial leader. She’s just a council member, who’s only friend on it is Voss

Well it definitely doesnt come up on the Redside. And I outright do not believe Belmont would take orders from Calia.

So it sounds like the Forsaken pulled in their troops to help secure Tirisfal, which was a good move as unsurprisingly a giant goo monster needed to be put down. And Calia, seeing an opportunity, lied to Genn and said this was a show of good faith.

Hence buying the Forsaken some breathing room as the Worgen charging into attack them while they’re still rebuilding wouldn’t be out of character. Genn’s gone AWOL to attack the Forsaken before afterall.

Sounds like a pretty brilliant political maneuver.

Or, she welcomed them home to attack the Forsaken in the future. She could still be a dreadlord. Best to continue to distrust her.

A Dreadlord would absolutely lure you into a false sense of security.

No, I can think of few things I would want to see less. Which is one of the reasons why having a council is an awful idea. But they could at least have tossed in a line from Baine about how he talked to the council about it.
