Nobody cares, but if there is a slight chance anyone from Blizz sees this post. I am just making it know that I am deactivating my account. It just so happens tomorrow is my “reset” day. So, after tomorrow, there will be one less sub to pay your bills Blizzard.

Why? Obviously because of arena because this is in the Arena forum.

Here was my last straw that broke the Kodos back…

I (who have 0 in game friends) decided to take my 217ilvl / 29% Vers Priest into the arena on my Birthday. I even added “Its my birthday” to the invite posting like a scrub loser. After waiting 1 hour and 23 min (Yes, I actually set a timer) in LFG. I finally found a Warrior and Ret with 220 iLVL! Whoa, this was a nice setup. Ret / Disc / Warr is a strong comp.

We are in the 1400ish bracket, nothing special, my season high is 1691. I accomplished my 1800 bracket in RBGs. But, since I cant get glad and the sick mount in RBGs. I need to do arena.

So, first match starts…HPall / Warr / Boomie…

Game goes on for 10-15 sec. Boomie pops out of stealth, 41k health unbuffed. I personally only have 38k buffed. No big deal, but, the boomie 2 Shots my ret before he can stun or bubble. Literally, 100 to dead in the matter of maybe 1 second?

Pally instantly rage logs ( I assume since the disconnected symbol was there when the match was over)

Warrior types “LOL” and leaves group…

I reset timer…

For two hours, nobody wanted to play a 3’s team and the postings already up looking for a healer only wanted Hpall or Shammy…

Now, I am not here to complain about my class or other classes ability to slip slap someone or even complain about the ret that doesnt know how to stun…

My problem is the LFG process just like the dozens/hundreds of other posts here…

I wanted to play on my birthday and couldn’t get a team for HOURS. I logged when my timer hit 120minutes, went to my account and deactivated…

For the record, I would rather grind a SOLO QUE LFG system for weeks in the 1500 brackets than try and find a team just to be done with that specific team after our matches. Even after BTag adds, never again do I play with the same people…ever…hence why my 1691 rating is now 1400sih…

Then I go and watch streams and get uber jelly becuase these guys play for hours each night and can hit 3k…

I just want my fist gladiator title and mount. I thought it would be this season, guess not…

Give us Rated solo que blizzard. It wont be perfect, but at least its something to do…

Well, I actually took it off after the RET left…

Also, the word “Carry” was not in my post. So the assumption of desperation wasn’t there.

Oh, you mean the ilvl 197 geared people that are 200-300pts lower than i am? Yep, cuz that is a great scenario for growth.

My fault. Next time ill take the 187 Unholy DK that cant even get full rank 7 before jumping into the arena.

Like it or not in a “mmorpg” you’ll have to make friends to play with and to advance together.

A while ago when I was in a guild and had friends to raid/pvp with, I had no problem doing what’s now considered CE or doing arenas and not getting stuck at low cr like now.

Join a guild and try to make friends to play with, if u don’t want to do this set a moderate goal to achieve and then just meme around I guess, that’s what I do now since all my friends are gone and the less time I spend in lfg the less angry I am at the game.

Just some friendly advise from someone who loathes lfg.

i had to swap from my glorious dwarf priest to this skeleton because of it.

Ya the arena in this game is dying. Blizzard was finally able to kill WoW arena after 10 years.

New World by Amazon is looking pretty good. I have about 100% more confidence in their development team than the WoW team. The fact that we all have to stand around and wonder what they even do all day proves that they are not communicating with the playerbase.

Blizzcon was boring. All meaningful changes are coming in 9.1 and it seems like they’re just getting started on it.

Thats why i got into RBGs…

But, again, no title or mount in RBGs. Making friends doesn’t seem to be hard…its finding friends that literally play as much arena as you do.

I don’t have friends that can slam down hours a night like I watch streamers do…

Also, the streams play with the same people over and over…

I just don’t like using the group finder anymore to try and PvP. I actually tried to play a mage back in legion and I could’ve been a very good mage had I actually been able to get good practice. I sat in Q’s all day until I just went back to healing.

Now even finding a group to heal has become an endeavor. RIP WoW arena

so much skill involved in coming out of invisible stealth hitting a convoke button out of range of any interrupt and almost all cc and getting a almost instant faceroll kill

cuz players just love mechanics that give them little or no chance to respond

This just says RBG heros going into arena with 0 awareness all over it. I understand convoke is retarded, but was he* not expecting it?
