I personally really like remasters as a concept. It’s like taking a game I already like and giving it an update patch / DLC.
There are better and worse remasters. I think WC3:r was a cashgrab piece of trash, but I also think the D2:r looks amazing and I can’t wait to play it.
I personally would have played classic if they had remastered it with modern graphics instead of just rehashing the same game. I’d absolutely love to the the Vanilla world updated, maybe retail will do it when we get out of Shadowlands… I was honestly disappointed that Battle for Azeroth did not update Azeroth.
Anyway, just my 2 cents.
I’ll stop buying remasters when they actually start making good new games.
