No. The Wow Token you purchase from the Shop can only be placed on the Auction House for gold. The one that you can redeem for game time or balance is purchased from the Auction House for gold.

Why not just buy a 1 month subscription and then immediately cancel. That’s only $15.

I’m not sure. I always bought a 6 month sub and it charged me when I bought it.

Yes, a subscription only charges to your card once your game time is on it’s last few days or has run out. So if you have game time and setup a subscription, it won’t actually charge you until your current game time runs out.
