But I don’t want to go night fae

Yup. Those were the days of players being in control of their class, with the ability to augment that base class through talents that spanned through the specialisation.

We now have clearly defined specs, and it is certainly debatable if someone prefers between old and new.

As per the off topic arguments, it is quite obviously, idiotic to assume that NPCs (yet alone Arthas / The Lich King) are limited to a spec without access to the whole class they represent.

In regards to Vedist:
Opinion =/= Fact.

This is true. I haven’t played the WarCraft games the only game I have played is WoW.

Yet, the above argument is also applied to WoW, where (again), NPCs (Arthas / The Lich King) are not limited to a spec, as modern day players are. As per the above arguments, the Lich King is not limited to Frost.

He is a Death Knight…

You’ve stated your incorrect opinion, despite facts that have shown otherwise.

And you keep attacking me about an opinion. And talking about thread derailing you have done more to derail the thread than I have.

Following up on your derailment, and you’re still thinking that people that correct your idiotic opinion is an attack.

No…

Your opinion is not fact…

You’ve been found to be wrong, and you’re thinking players who are providing facts to your deeply flawed opinion are now attacking you :roll_eyes:

No it was the fact for how many post it was the same thing. That is the attack but again someone like you wont see it as that. And the tone of the your post is why I call it attack. But again someone like you cant see that as this apparently how you respond to someone. But then it is pointless to try to talk to you civilly.

It’s not an opinion, it’s a statement of fact that can be confirmed or shown to be wrong.

The statement “Well Arthas was a frost dk” is just wrong. You just have to go to wowhead and look at the list of his abilities in a “tactics” post. 2 are frost and I didn’t count the unholy abilities but there are at least 10.

Sure, statement whatever.
He’s calling it an opinion. Either way, it’s proven to be objectively wrong in saying Arthas was Frost.

Yea i wonder why he might be feeling attacked lol

You missed this:

A statement acknowledging your ability to do something does not equate into permission.
Can =/= May

Thinking you need to get permission to say something about someone, from the person you want to talk about.

That has no bearing on whether the word “can” is synonymous with “may”; furthermore, I never made the false equivalency. I corrected it’s assumption.

Well it does if people use it as such. Not to mention saying “you may do this” is pretty condescending. It sounds smug.

I also think everyone can see that the “you can attack me all you want” is saying “I don’t care if you attack me” though they clearly do when they complained about it.

We’re finally getting access to the Baron and Count titles, but not Duke?!
ooooogh.

And I will be so mad if the Tyrande “NIGHT ELVES ARE THE ONLY RACE IN THE GAME THAT MATTERS” covenant is the best one. Lord knows they’re going to make it the best to try to make Teldrassil up to nelf players.

Your predilection to play the contrarian isn’t reflecting well on your intelligence at the moment.
“Can” implies ability and “may” implies permission. Using the words incorrectly doesn’t change their meaning no matter how much you would like it to be true.
Keep arguing with others about subjects you might know a bit about and leave contextual english words to someone else.

That’s exactly how meanings change. I can name a few words recently that have been changed. Gender, and racism. 2 words that have changed based on improper use. Gender is now used to mean something along the lines of personality, and racism has been changed so that racists and be racist, without being labeled as such.

I know what “can” and “may” means. You repeating it doesnt change the context or how the words were used. “May” sounds condescending and makes the user sound superior. The “you may attack me” statement implies there is some kind of control over others which they don’t actually have. When someone says “you can attack me” it usually means “I don’t care if you do” because this is how normal people have conversations and experience with other people will show you this.

Remains to be seen. Right now, it’s a hard no, since an extra 15 RP/second is generally better for most of the specs than the extra Strength from Death’s Due, and Door of Shadows is much better than Soulshape.

Hope that remains to be true.

If you aren’t in one of the top three guilds in the world it doesn’t matter. I’m going Venthyr, I don’t care what some wannabe elite players think I should take.
