Burning Crusade Classic: The Sunwell Plateau is Now Open!

Sorry my mistake given you replied in a fashion that seemed like you took offense but didn’t really read my post at all. As well as passing a judgment that I don’t post with any sense of sincerity.

Again, not agreeing on a topic doesn’t equal inherent trolling.

Christ, y’all have made this a truly awful experience. This expansion is WAY too rushed.

Literally no one cares what some forum rando thinks about how you use your PTO.

It’s just derailing the thread at this point.

This is TOO SOON. Cutting short the longest, best phases of TBC that I was looking forward to the most :frowning: just terrible

Eh I guess that’s fair to say given I’m saying it’s sad to use PTO on a video game.

I wouldn’t expect anyone on these forums to really agree with that notion.

It was 1 week after the end of Season 1 when P2 came out, but 2 weeks after the end of Season 2 when P3 came out.

How is that completely predictable? Tell me!

They get extra loot, extra lockouts, and the wow token. Such identical treatment, much wow.

The Sunwell on PTR was my tell it would be mid-May they’d drop it.

I also think we’ll get WotLK prepatch in September, and Wrath will officially drop in November.

Why are you still talking? Go away.

I’m literally replying to someone who asked me a question?

That is still not “completely predictable.” Time on PTR before release has not been consistent. It could have been the week after next.

I guess my usage of the word completely was hyperbolic, but to me and many of the people I know think Blizzard is quite predictable on their patterns if you’ve played long enough.

Thursday release means many, many guilds have to rearrange their raid schedule entirely. This requires planning in advance, which can’t be based on guessing when Blizzard is NOT transparent, predictable, or consistent in their content releases.

no they don’t lol, none of that is true except the wow token and the wow token is basically legal gold buying which is pretty much already what is happening on NA, you drank the kool aid, sunwell releases at 6am on friday for china btw, lets get the americans out of bed for sunwell at 6am on a friday morning and see what is left of this forum

Haven’t all their raid releases recently been on Thursdays?

I don’t think it’s as many guilds as you may think, I’m sure majority of guilds don’t rearrange their raiding schedule based on a raid drop on Thursday.

Tuesday is the biggest raid day on Mankrik. Yes, lots of guilds are forced to rearrange their schedules or lose the first week in each new phase.

We expect the Thursday release, but the week itself is NOT predictable based on PTR or arena seasons because neither of those things have been a consistent indicator of when the next phase will drop.

Tuesday is no doubt the biggest raid day for everyone cause it’s reset day.

Our guild has a raid schedule of Tues and Monday. We used to raid a third day on Saturdays, but we got rid of that cause playing on the weekend is just meh.

But with a raid day after Thursday it’s very easy to manage not missing the new raid.

And I’m confident that most guilds don’t rearrange their schedules even if it means missing the first week.

Exactly this, and there are WAY more Tues/Weds guilds adding extra days or changing around their raid schedule week for released raids than ones who are not.

The concerns are not even as much about the Thursday date and more about needing an exact date notice for a whole raid team to plan.

There are also people who have talked about how they didn’t get to do their last speed run because they would have had to this week and the announcement was on Thursday. This is not huge for my guild but it’s a valid concern for those raid groups.

Why even argue with someone who has no idea what they are talking about. Most people predicted may 19th and not the 12th. People here got a whooping 5 days notice before next phase arrives. People who try to justify that are not even worth arguing with, especially when they come with that it was predictable. People dont take time off or re-schedule for something predictable when it clearly is not 100% predictable.

This. Same with my guild.
