Any word on whether nerfed T4 and 2x token drops will happen with the patch next week or will that get added with T5 on the 9/15?

That’s true, but the quote I posted was a recent blue post on wowhead. Not some dev ,who prolly doesn’t actually play the game, giving a short interview during a stream of an arena tourney.
We are going to have a 1 week window to spend our current arena points on discounted season 1 arena gear before season 2 starts and the points are converted to honor.
I’m pretty sure she’s one of the leads for the project, but I could be wrong. Regardless its never bad to have clarification as its been silence for 5ish weeks up until today. I know I’ll be pretty miffed if I log on and see the off season has converted my saved arena points to honor because I was under the impression, given from Blizzard themselves, that I’d be able to buy S1 gear at a reduced price.

I’m mostly curious cause guild may try to do a full T4 clear on Tuesday and nerfs would speed that up.
Also would be good to know if T4 starts dropping 2 pieces of tier for Gruul/Mag on Tues.

Yea I think she had a lead dev title, but that interview made a lot of people pretty upset, me included. Majority of us were under the impression that those changes she discussed were coming DURING SEASON 1 and here we are.
From what they have posted, I’m 95% sure we are getting that one week window to spend on reduced cost arena gear before our pints get converted. But blizz has made last second changes and failed to communicate on a regular basis, so we will see.
Will HVH bgs be permanent then. What is being done about premades stomping pugs?

I believe this is the post the wowhead blue tracker was referring to. It does indeed clearly state that the arena to honor point conversion will take place at the start of Season 2 (Sept 14).
Honor will not be reset at the beginning of Season 2. When Season 1 ends, there will be a one-week offseason period. When Season 2 begins, any remaining unspent Arena points will be converted to Honor Points at a rate of: 1 Arena Point = 10 Honor Points.

Yep, I think we’re essentially saying the same thing here. As I also expected the price reduction during Season 1 based off her interview:
they also said that the reduction in price and the rep resilience gear would be done before the end of season 1. But here we are.

How much is the arena cost point reduction for S1 gear for the off week?
Will you be able to buy the S1 shoulders/weapon without a rating or will the rating requirement still remain for that off week?

Does anyone know if the S2 gear will be available when the discounts hit for the season 1 gear, or will that come out when the second phase actually begins?
Would be nice to spend some of these points on S2 gear instead of just discounted S1 gear.
This is a continuation of a Wowhead misquote. In the interview, Holly specifically stated the price reduction would be at the end of season 1, not during.
Can we please get an update on HvH? This will decide whether I use my arena points or let all 5k roll into honor points to save for S3. Yes - I would save honor for S3 now. That is how bad the honor grind is.
